     Gracious Heavenly Father,
thank You for the new month added by Your grace.
     Lord, as we observe workers' day today, we commend into Your hands all who work in fields, factories, industries, housemaids, public utility workers, contractual labourers and all those who toil everyday in various areas of work to earn their bread and butter.
     Lord, give them good health, protection and safety as they work in dangerous, hazardous and unclean  environment. 
     Lord, bless their earnings as they toil to provide for their family. Let the bowl of flour not be exhausted nor the jar of oil become empty, in their homes.
     Lord, we commend those who employ these workers,  into Your hands. Give them a heart of flesh, so that they may not be inhumane with the workers. 
     Lord, let the workers be true to their employers. Let both of them bond well and treat each other with humanity. Teach them guide them, and bless them.
     In Jesus' name we pray , Amen.
