     Gracious Heavenly Father,  thank You for this graceful morning given to our family.
     Lord, thank You for holding each member of the  family by Your hand and leading us on all our ways. Thank You for Your protection through every temptation and through all changing scenes of life.
     Lord, we commend all the children into Your hands. Be their shield and fortress.  Let no evil thoughts gain entry into their mind.. Guard their hearts against any ungodly misguidance. 
     Lord, be their Guardian in the hours when they are away from their parents. Give
every parent Your wisdom to train them up in the way he or she should go.  Strengthen the family bonding between the parents and the children,  with Your love.
     Lord, cast a hedge around each family and keep away the fowler's trap. Make every child a blessing to their parents and to the community. Teach them and give them Your peace.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
