     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed Sunday, observed as Father's Day world over. 
     Lord, our Abba Father, we thank You, for, You embrace us all the time, even though we have sinned against You and our fellow men and no longer worthy to be called Your son. 
     Lord, thank You for the privilege given to each one of us to be a father to our children and to be the head of our family. We thank You that You have lavished Your riches and Your inheritance on our children. You strengthened our hands to provide for our children / family.
     Lord, we also intercede for the children who remember their father and yearn for father's love. Give them the confidence and comfort that , You, heavenly Father is always with them
     Lord, may we, as a father show our children that life is in Christ alone, that there is no other source of life, joy, light, peace, comfort, love, or truth that can endure forever. 
    Lord, accept our worshhip today, and fill Your Spirit in us and prepare us for the new week. Walk beside us each moment.
    In Jesus' name we pray,  Amen.
