     Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before Your presence this morning, with a thankful heart. 
     Lord, thank You for satisfying us in the morning with Your steadfast love so that we may rejoice and be glad in it. Thank You for being our dwelling place, our refuge and protection. Thank You for not withholding all the good things from us. 
     Lord, help us to understand the miseries and shortness and the frail nature of our life. Pardon us, for, we forget often that You know what concerns us, and You cover us, with a shield. 
     Lord, may we not boast about anything but remember that it is You who  establish the work of our hands and bring to fulfillment , all that we do.
     Lord, we seek help and counsel from You to walk upright. Grant us Your huge favor and grace so that our ways are purposeful and our footsteps firm out of Your goodness and mercy.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
