     Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank and begin our day with gratitude. 
     Lord, we thank You for the privilege given to wake up alive; to embrace our life anew; to give You our praise and seek Your forgiveness for all the sins we have committed, against You and our neighbours. 
     Lord, thank You for giving us the courage to hold our peace and boldly walk through the journey of faith with everyone. 
     Lord, surround our family and friends with a hedge of protection on every side. Preserve them from harm, so that they may go out and return home safely.
     Lord, though we are small and insignificant in Your presence, You have empowered us with Your unfailing promises. We thank You.
     Lord, may we use every opportunity to reflect through our actions, the message of Your love to everyone we meet today. May we fear You alone and be staisfied.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
