     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed day and the gifts of forgiveness, and unconditional love.
     Lord, today, we pay tribute to the bravery and valor of the Indian soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country during the Kargil War. 
     Lord, cover them with Your protection and be their guiding force and lead their way. Be their rock, their shield, and their stronghold and let them draw their strength from You.
     Lord, we pray for ourselves. May we trust in Your mercy and let Your love grow in the heart of our every family member, relatives, and friends so that they could see, understand, enjoy the joy and appreciate the peaceful life.
     Lord, thank You for the privilege to always find our strength and support in You and  experience the joy You give to us. Keep away from our hearts, the false nourishment that may delight us only for a short time.
     Lord, may we not be shackled by the heavy burdens of this world or be crushed under any shame or guilt. 
     Lord, we await the day when You shall touch us and fill our hearts with joy and peace.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
