     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day. Thank You for hearing the prayers of Your people everyday and for helping us always.
     Lord, thank You for being a faithful God whose mercies are new every morning. May we be a true reflection of Your love and Your faithfulness to those around us. 
     Lord, at this time we pray for the comfort of those in sorrow due to sudden loss in the family.  Strengthen and heal their crushed spirit with Your word of  consolation.
     Lord, may we always remember that we are a dust; a flower that fades quickly; a wave tossed in the ocean; a vapour in the wind, yet You have engraved us on Your palms. Thank You Father. 
     Lord, give us all hope for tomorrow and encourage us to move forward. Let Your peace and comfort prevail upon all of us.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
