     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed and safe morning given to us. 
     Lord, in the quietness of this hour, we come to Your presence and wait for Your unfailing new mercies on  our family.  We also intercede for those who have had a disturbing night due to various family situations. 
     Lord, bestow on us Your goodness and Your faithfulness that satisfies us every day. You make us experience Your steadfast love and Your kindness when we walk through various situations of life.
     Lord, help us not to fall prey to the pattern of this world but grow beyond the normal human patterns of our behaviour. Renew our minds to see Your will which is perfect and good.
     Lord, may we have the heart to pray for others and willingness to forgive their shortcomings. Help us demonstrate faith in You to all those around us. 
     Lord, we enter this day with confidence that Your goodness and mercy shall follow all of us in and through each moment,  today and all the days of our life. 
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
