     Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before Your presence on this last day of the year with a thankful heart.
     Lord, thank You for never letting us down even one day and never letting Your mercies fail even one moment, as we journeyed through this year. 
     Lord, we thank You for all the countless blessings and benefits bestowed on our family. We praise You for all the work of Your hands in the past with reverence. 
     Lord, thank You for giving us the moments of joy and comfort and assurance of Your presence. It was only by Your grace we walked through the challenges that came our way.      
     Lord, even if we had ten thousand tongues it just wouldn' t be enough to say "Thank You" for all that You have done for us. 
     Lord, we commit ourselves and enter into the new year 2024, fully trusting; 
# in Your Word that will light our path; 
# in Your rod and staff that will comfort us; 
# that You will hold us by Your righteous right hand and uphold us. 
# that You will fulfill the plans You have for us. 
     Lord, we continue to trust  in You with all our hearts and acknowledge You in all our ways. Lead us and guide us. 
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
