     Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before Your presence with gratitude as we observe "Mother's Day" & " International Nurses Day", today. 
     Lord, pour out Your Spirit and bless all the mothers and nurses as they fulfill their highest calling - 
of being a mother and those who chose to serve as a nurse. 
     Lord, even amidst agony and pain on the Cross, motherhood was sanctified through the very life of Christ. You also set us an example by  comforting and nursing the sick and healing them by Your stripes. We thank You.
     Lord, grant each mother, especially single mothers, who put their family first, and struggle alone to provide for their children. Guide them as they nurture their children, passing on the faith and spirituality. 
     Lord, we also pray for the foster mothers and for the 'mother- to- be' and the new mothers. Guide them through each step, as they care for their new borns.
     Lord, we pray with gratitude for all the nurses whose hands You have blessed with skill and precision, enabling them to bring forth restoration and relief to the sick.
     Lord, strengthen them as they tirelessly dedicate themselves to the well-being of others, through long hours of work, sacrificing their own comfort for the sake of their patients. 
     Lord, let the efforts of the mothers and nurses be encouraged with love and appreciation from families, patients, and the society.  
     Lord, let the truest joy and grace that comes from Your presence surround them always.
