     Gracious Heavenly Father, we offer this morning our heartfelt thanks to You for Your countless blessings and the tender care bestowed upon each one of us.
     Lord, may we not forget that our happiness does not come from things that are from this world but only by Your grace. In Your presence there is fullness of joy, and at Your right hand is delight forever.
     Lord, let Your unchangeable and unchanging Word be the foundation upon which we anchor our faith. May we realise our emptiness and rely on You alone, casting our worries and trusting You.
     Lord, may we also accept that we cannot control every aspect of our lives but be mindful that You alone are the source of all the goodness we experience.      
     Lord, be our strength and our stronghold. Our refuge in the day of trouble. Hear our prayers.
