     Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed morning. We come into Your presence with our hearts full of thanks and gratitude for all that You have done for us. 
     Lord, forgive us the moments we more often chose to walk in darkness rather than in light. May the light of Your love continue to shine brightly in our heart and guide us to walk and abide in the Light of life. 
     Lord, we intercede for those who are lost in darkness. Let Your light shine brightly in their lives too, leading them to redemption and eternal life.
     Lord, we place our petitions before You and seek Your Spirit's guidance through all our life’s challenges. 
     Lord, in our weakness may we not go back to darkness , but with Your strength walk in a manner that is well-pleasing to You.
     Lord, let our lives, our actions and our words be a testament to Your goodness and mercy. Help us to shine in Your light to all those around us. 
     In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
