     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day filled with new mercies. 
     Lord, on this *'International Women's Day',* we commend all the women in Your hands. Thank You for all the women who respond to Your call and come forward to serve the community without expecting anything in return.
     Lord, we thank You for their role in every home as a homemaker and mother. We thank You for guiding them in all that they do for the welfare of the family. 
     Lord, we thank and pray for their leadership and involvement and contribution to the society to serve in various professions & capacities. 
     Lord, we intercede for every woman who is poorly educated, oppressed, exploited, tearful and ill treated by society, broken relationships and those facing domestic violence. Deliver them from all these bondages. 
     Lord, bless the fruits of all the women who toil alone to provide for their family. Establish their works.   
     Lord, we pray for all the elderly women who are weak and are fighting sickness. Let Your Word heal & strengthen them. 
     Lord, thank You for Your gift of wisdom to all women, to do what is right and choose the best. May we, men, as head of our family and as fellowmen in the society, pray, encourage and support them in all their endeavours.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
