     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of life and for the blessing of our family and friends on this new day.
     Lord, may Your grace and mercy surround us and Your love be our constant companion.
     Lord, thank You for Your help that made us stay the course. May we confidently come before You and say, "we have kept Your ways and have not departed wickedly from You. 
     Lord, guide our thoughts, words, and actions to reflect Your grace and kindness.  May we be a source of encouragement, patience, and compassion, especially when challenges arise.
     Lord, we pray for all our needs and necessities and the need for others. Give us discernment to see and gratefully accept all that You have purposed for us.  
     Lord, You are our refuge, help and strength. We trust in You alone.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
