Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed worship Sunday.
Lord, as we gather in Your sanctuary, remind us of Your call to righteousness and the power of Your redemptive love.
Lord, as we meditate on Your Word, help us to understand what it means to put away the evil of our doings, to truly cease from actions that dishonor You.
Lord, may we not cling on to just rituals, but to You, and truly confess that we have sinned against You and our neighbours many times. Wash the stains on our hands with the blood of Jesus and make us clean.
Lord, let our prayers bear witness to Your work in us individually and be a clear testimony of Your grace. We place our hope in You alone, not in our own strength or wisdom.
Lord, strengthen our faith for the challenges ahead. You are our God who raised the dead. Be our stronghold always and in times of trouble.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Today’s Promise;
2 Corinthians 1:10
He who rescued us from so deadly a peril will continue to rescue us; on Him we have set our hope that He will rescue us again.
