A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.
Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.
Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".

A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.
Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.
Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.
Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.
Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

THE LORD IS NEAR TO ALL WHO CALL ON HIM IN TRUTH

Gracious Heavenly Father, we praise and thank You this morning with elation in our hearts.
Lord, may we feel Your presence and greatness this hour, that we are to experience today.
Lord, thank You for Your goodness which is not just sometimes, but all the time. And, not just good to some people, but is good to all.
Lord, thank You for making known to us, Your mighty deeds, and the splendor of Your glorious kingdom.
Lord, thank You for Your unfailing promises that come with a guarantee, with an assurance that they will surely be fulfilled in our lives ; may we count and name them one by one.
Lord, thank You for Your grace that is sufficient for us, no matter who we are or what our situations may be.
Lord, thank You for lifting us up when we fall down; fighting our battles on our behalf and not allowing us to be shamed. Be near to us and lead us.

THE LORD WILL INCLINE HIS EAR TO US

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come to Your presence, offering ourselves to You as a family seeking Your counsel.
Lord, we place our wants and desires in Your hands. May we not get confused or distracted with our own careless thoughts, words, and actions.
Lord, we pray for each member of our family and our friends. Bless each child with Your wisdom as they learn their lessons. Let every one of them keep their eyes on You, who always watch over us.
Lord, we pray for all those having many concerns and sickness in their family. Give them the strength and patience as they await deliverance, touch and heal them.
Lord, we trust in Your incredible promise that You will hear us and strengthen us when we get weary. Grant Your comfort, peace and answers to our prayers.

OUR LORD GIVE US COUNSEL

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come to Your presence at the dawn of this morning to praise and thank You for adding another week.
Lord, we seek You and Your Kingdom before we begin to attend our daily routine and commitments for this week.
Lord, prepare the plan for us and direct our steps. Protect us from all the evil things that may come near us from the time we wake up, till we retire to bed at night. We submit all the days of this week in Your hands.
Lord, all of us are burdened with various sufferings and are bent down by the disabling spirit that does not allow us to look up to You, in our weakness. Lay Your hands upon each one of us and make us to stand straight or walk right in Your ways.
Lord, may we walk ahead boldly with the assurance of Your presence. Instruct us and teach us the way we should go throughout the week.
Lord, give us a positive, joyful attitude, motivation and the energy we need to not only make it through the week but to cherish it. Let no fears or doubts discourage us when we fail. Give us Your counsel.

GOD’S WORK IS PERFECT

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed worship Sunday.
Lord, You have been our rock and refuge in and through all the situations we walked through.
Lord, we commend all the pastors, ministers of the Church and their family members. Bless them for their commitment and strengthen them as they carry out the tasks through various ministries of the Church.
Lord, let them be watchful of their commitment and be a Good Shepherd to their flocks in guarding and guiding them. Let them be emboldened by Your Spirit to face any kind of challenges they come across, as they serve Your Church.
Lord, be their refuge and protect them and their families. Let their ministry bring Glory to You, and You alone.

OUR LORD’S COMPASSION FAILS NOT. HE WILL SURELY DO IT

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace and mercy that waits for us as we wake up each day.
Lord, thank You for Your great many precious blessings poured upon us. You provided us all we have needed, throughout the week. We seek Your pardon for all our transgressions.
Lord, our hope is in You and You are our portion. Let no sufferings or circumstances influence our life, but rather help us to keep our faith on You and understand that Your plans and purposes are perfect.
Lord, hear the cries of every individual and every family who continue to struggle due to various sufferings. Strengthen each one of them to bear the pain and wait quietly for Your deliverance.
Lord, You are good to us when we wait for You, and You will not cast us off forever, for, great is Your faithfulness.

PRAY FOR EVERYONE. LISTEN TO HIS VOICE, FOR, WE ARE HIS SHEEP

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank and begin this day with Your new mercies.
Lord, we are sheep in Your flock. You called us to be in a relationship with one another and promised to dwell among us.
Lord, we commend the law makers working to bring in the amendment to the civil code. Open their eyes and speak to them in the quiet moments. Let no decisions made by our leaders affect the lives of the people of our nation living in harmony.
Lord, let their hearts not be hardened but humbled to listen to Your voice and heed to Your instructions, to experience fullness of joy and peace. Surround them with strong, wise, and spiritually mature people to speak the voices of all communities. Fill them with Your wisdom.
Lord, may we as Your children, boldly and openly pray in one accord for the welfare of all people. May we realise that our entire life is contingent upon Your mercy and grace alone.
Lord, stay with us, so that in all our work and activity we may be aware of Your guiding Spirit at work in all our hearts.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before Your presence, trusting in Your promises this morning.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of family. We experience the warmth of Your love through our relationship with each other. Thank You for Your protection given to all of us.
Lord, thank You for Your compassion on our family. May we pass on the same to others and speak the words of kindness. Make our family, a witness and a source of encouragement in our neighborhood.
Lord, we commend all the families of our relatives and friends. Let Your hand be upon each one of them. Cast away any kind of sickness, bitterness, financial stress and various other challenges. Fill them with Your mercy, health, happiness and peace.
Lord, prepare all our minds and hearts today, and make us worthy enough to receive Your grace.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of peaceful morning given to us.
Lord, we commit ourselves to You, willing to patiently endure till the end and to learn the lesson that You would teach us through each situation, with a purpose to reveal Your glory.
Lord, let every situation refine us, cleanse us and make us stronger, perfect, complete and lacking in nothing.
Lord, thank You for Your promise that the testing of our faith develops our patience and steadfastness so that we can run the full race.
Lord, establish the work of our hands. Reinforce our faith and obedience and develop our perseverance to do Your will, to receive what You have promised us.

THE LORD IS SLOW TO ANGER & MERCIFUL

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace, patience and kindness.
Lord, thank You for walking with us each day and providing us the living water when thirsty and feeding us when we were hungry, with Your bread of life.
Lord, thank You for forgiving our timidity and granting us peace in our hearts. May we demonstrate our love in the life we live and share.
Lord, we intercede for the people who are displaced due to torrential rains across the world. Protect them, comfort them during this time of loss of dear ones and their belongings.
Lord, let the plans of the Government and the local bodies be guided by Your wisdom for better implementation of plans for our brethren.
Lord, let Your hand shield the children, women, aged and sick people. Place a hedge around them and give them Your comfort and peace as they face the present natural calamity.
Lord, thank You for Your love abounding on us. May we not become complacent and remain in our comfort zone but feel the burden and intercede for our brethren who struggle due to various sufferings and day today challenges.
Lord, give us the heart to understand the breadth, length, height and depth of Your love that surpasses our human knowledge which keeps us comfortable and safe.

FEAR GOD FOR OUR OWN GOOD & OF OUR CHILDREN

Gracious Heavenly Father, we seek You this morning, in the quiet of our hearts.
Lord, we thank You for creating and naming our family with a purpose. Reveal Your plans for each of us individually and for our family as a whole, so that it may be done according to Your will.
Lord, help us to acknowledge and appreciate each other’s personalities, gifts and even our weaknesses. May we hold on to all that is good; to feel and rejoice in Your Fatherly care, as Your children.
Lord, may the light in our hearts never be extinguished by the trails and temptations we come across, the light that enables us to look into heaven and earth and see the good that is on its way to us today.
Lord, thank You for Your patience in spite of all our failures and disobedience. Pardon us as we look to You with profound realisation of our weakness because You are our Heavenly Father.
Lord, let Your guiding presence be realised by us during this week. Let Your will be done more and more fully in our family and around us.
