A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.
Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.
Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.
Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.
Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.
Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.
Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

THE LORD IS OUR SAVING REFUGE

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for waking us to see the beginning of a new day.
Lord, we are strong when we are on Your shoulders. Thank You for not letting us down anytime and carrying us on Your shoulder when we struggled to walk. Be with each one of us this morning.
Lord, may we not forget Your love on us and go astray. Let no doubts or anxieties strip off our faith in You, instead let our hearts grow towards perfection of our inner self.
Lord, let our ears listen and experience Your whispering voice, every moment, for, You alone are our refuge.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we begin this day filled with Your grace and mercy.
Lord, You are our strength and the one in whom we have put our faith. We go rejoicing every moment with Your presence around us.
Lord, thank You for fearfully and wonderfully creating us for Your good works. Keep us true to the calling You have given to each one of us.
Lord, let all our desires become aligned with Your purpose so that we do not live a conflicted lifestyle.
Lord, may we reflect the gospel of Your love through our actions and words in all our transactions.
Lord, we pray for every challenge faced by us each day. May we carry the shield of faith always and walk ahead to claim the victory over any challenges.
Lord, may our life be lived to serve You in word and deed to Your praise and glory.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace upon us this morning.
Lord, may we trust in Your promise as we begin this week and reflect on them at a personal and professional level, and as a family and as a community.
Lord, with You by our side, we can do all things beyond our understanding and abilities. May we be strengthened in our hope on Your steadfast, firm, and eternal love on us.
Lord, we commend into Your hands, all our commitments of this week. Let the purpose You have for each one of us be fulfilled, for Your glory. May we not, at any time feel let down, especially when situation seems scary or unclear.
Lord, we place before You all our desires and petitions and wait for Your will to be done. Grant us a sense of balance that is necessary to fulfill all that is asked of us. Guard us and guide us.

THE LORD HEARS & ANSWERS US

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this worship Sunday.
Lord, we thank You for increasing the strength of our soul when we call. You are at work always before we think of asking. You are still hidden and yet so evident and near.
Lord, may we not be surprised by any sort of painful things we may experience but be firm in our faith, stay alert and sincerely watch and pray. For, You are our God in whom we trust.
Lord, we pray for all those who continue to suffer and go through anguish and pain for a long time. Let them see a deliverance from it. Be merciful to them and turn their sorrows into joy.
Lord, accept our prayers and petitions we bring before You this morning. May we return home with confidence that You will answer us when we call.

THE LORD HAS DRAWN US WITH UNFAILING KINDNESS

Gracious Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for being present with all of us during the week. Thank You for graciously protecting us during the night and mercifully adding this day.
Lord, we as a family, intercede for citizens in Manipur who are presently going through tough times. Let every individual hit hardest by the recent riots be protected.
Lord, especially we commend and pray for all the Churches and people who have been ransacked by anti social elements. Let Your peace prevail amongst each citizen.
Lord, make them understand each other in the present struggle, see the brokenness around them. empathize and provide each other's needs. Intervene and bring in peace among them.
Lord, let every violence and senseless acts of vandalism come to an end. Let Your goodness and unfailing kindness be experienced by everyone.

THE LORD IS OUR STRONGHOLD. HE NEVER FORSAKES US

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day of grace.
Lord, we put our trust in You and look up to You this morning. You have not forsaken us till now ; be it providing our many needs, rescuing us from the distress of our hearts, and comforting us in the times of anguish. We claim victory over all these in the blood of Jesus Christ.
Lord, we commend all the people on this earth. Remember the wretched, the sick, the poor. Let Your living strength touch them so that they can bear their sufferings and hold out joyfully to the end.
Lord, remain with us, for, we are weak and scared to walk alone. Be our stronghold and be gracious to us at all times.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come with a thankful heart this morning.
Lord, may all that You have done this far remain alive in us, so that we can look forward with open, clear-seeing eyes.
Lord, thank You for all the good that comes from You. May we count our blessings and name them one by one.
Lord, may we continue to live and find strength in the grace of Jesus Christ, holding on in joy without grumbling and complaining.
Lord, grant that we may be faithful to the end, victorious in all things through Your Spirit, who helps and blesses us on our way.

GOD IS OUR REFUGE & STRENGTH

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for the tender care given to us like a good shepherd. Thank You for showing us the way of life.
Lord, we enter into this day trusting in Your loving-kindness which is always at work. In Your presence we experience fullness of joy, and at Your right hand is delight forever.
Lord, may we rejoice together as Your children, and under Your protection become firm in every part of our life on earth.
Lord, may we never doubt in You and Your wisdom, instead acknowledge You in all our ways. Grant us patience and direct our paths in line with Your word.
Lord, thank You for being our strength, our stronghold and our refuge in the day of trouble.

BLESSED ASSURANCE FOR THOSE WHO TRUST IN THE LORD

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this new day. We thank You for the blessed assurance that strengthens us.
Lord, we pray for all the children who await their results and for admissions into schools and colleges. Guide our children as they choose their study of interest and ambition.
Lord, let them not fear but face all challenges on their academic and professional front. Give them access to wise and loving friends and leaders to help them take right decisions.
Lord, bless and guide the efforts of every parent, as they plan to meet the financial needs of their children. Open up ways to the right sources to get the support needed for their children.
Lord, we trust and thank You for Your promise that we will be blessed and will be like trees planted by the water.
Lord, let every family experience Your promise each day, and walk boldly through this month in the midst of any hardships or challenges we may face. Guard us and guide us.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for the new month added by Your grace.
Lord, Your hands never shortened to shower Your blessings, never failed to heal us by Your stripes, never failed to carry us in our weakness.
Lord, let the bowl of flour not be exhausted nor the jar of oil become empty, in every home this month.
Lord, we pray for all the workers in fields, factories, industries, housemaids, public utility and contractual labourers. We also pray for all those who employ these workers. Let their bonding be bound by love and humanity.
Lord, give them good health, protection and safety as they work in dangerous, hazardous and unclean environment.
Lord, as we begin this month we commend every care into Your hands. May we seek Your face each morning before the worldly pressure takes control of our minds. Let each day be filled with new mercies and grace. Accept our prayer.
