    A Small Morning Family Prayer

    31/01/2022

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.

Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.

Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.

Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.

Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

    Today’s Promise:
Jesus, “and whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Matthew 21:22

    29/01/2022

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.

Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.

Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.

Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.

Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.

Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

    Today’s promise:
I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” – Jeremiah 31:25

    10/03/2026

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for yet another new day.
Lord, we come before You as a little flock and beseech You to accept us and keep us as Your own, whom You will redeem in Your time.
Lord, may we not be afraid but live with the trust in Your promise that assures to give us the kingdom. May we not be consumed by the weight of the worldly concerns & anxiety, but be filled with peace.
Lord, open the hearts of our fellow brethren who are yet to receive the Word of redemption. Let Your Spirit touch and draw them towards You. May we, as Your children reflect Your light in their journey.
Lord, let every member of our family respond to Your call, grow deeper in faith, draw closer to You, and become a testimony of Your goodness and purpose.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

    Today’s Promise:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.

    09/03/2026

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this bright new morning and a new week.
Lord, thank You for being gracious unto us and for revealing Your goodness every day. Let Your name be exalted above the heavens and that Your glory be over all the earth.
Lord, grant us the tranquility and wisdom to navigate the day / week with a calm spirit. May we fulfill Your purpose with the same passion like Psalmist David —to desire nothing more than Your glory to fill the earth.
Lord, let Your majesty be revealed in ways that draw hearts to You, especially among those who do not yet know You. Let everyone come to know the real reason behind this season and be saved.
Lord, let the people around us not see our fasting to be performative or as an act to seek recognition but as a spiritual discipline that reflects our closer relationship with You.
Lord, we pray for everyone who begins this week with various expectations and wants. May we be reminded that You are always beside us - to provide comfort, wisdom and guidance, and that we can always turn to You.
Lord, help us to live our lives in a manner that reflects our status as Your beloved children.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

    Today’s Promise:
See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are…..

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed Sunday filled with new mercies.
Lord, as we observe today as, 'International Women's Day', we commend all the women into Your hands.
Lord, may their faith be strengthened, their hearts be encouraged, and their prayers answered.
Lord, we thank You for the role of women in every home as a homemaker and mother. We thank You for guiding them in all that they do for the welfare of the family.
Lord, bless all the women who respond to Your call and come forward to serve the community. Grant them wisdom to handle wisely their leadership and involvement and contribution to the Church and the society through various professions & corporate capacities.
Lord, we intercede for every woman who is poorly educated, oppressed, exploited, tearful and ill treated, facing domestic violence and going through broken relationships. Deliver them from all these bondages.
Lord, bless all the single earning woman who toil alone to provide for their family. Let Your hand of protection be with them.
Lord, we pray for all the elderly women who are weak and are fighting sickness. Let Your Word heal & strengthen them.
Lord, guide them to do what is right and choose the best. May we, men, as head of our family and as fellowmen in the society, pray, encourage and support them in all their endeavours.
Lord, thank You for acknowledging their faith who trust in You, and promising them to fulfill their hearts desire.
