A Small Morning Family Prayer

31/01/2022
Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.
Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.
Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today’s Promise:
Jesus, “and whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Matthew 21:22 -
A Small Morning Family Prayer

29/01/2022
Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.
Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.
Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.
Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.
Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today’s promise:
I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” – Jeremiah 31:25 -
HAVE FAITH & ASK IN PRAYER TO RECEIVE WHATEVER YOU NEED

01/04/2023
Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on the fourth month of this year.
Lord, having experienced the dawn of resurrection of Your Son Jesus, we come before You, recognizing every moment as a gift from You and our hearts overflowing with gratitude.
Lord, bless the earnings and resources of all the household. Let the jug of oil and jar of flour not run dry in every home. Fill every shortfall, with Your abundance.
Lord, let Your presence go before us and lead us ahead, all the days of this month. Show us the way, when at the crossroads and make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You and be confident that we can face tomorrow, because the Risen Lord lives. Let our faith be firm in Your promise that "we will receive", whatever we ask in prayer.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today’s Promise:
Matthew 21:22
Jesus, “and whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” -

Lord, may the joyous moment of our celebration across the globe, continue well beyond the sunrise service we partake.
Lord, give us the courage and assurance to move forward because Jesus has risen ...He is risen indeed. Let no fear of our yesterday and fear of tomorrow bring doubts in our minds and weaken our body and soul.
Lord, let our faith in You, the Risen Christ, who tasted the victory of life over death remain with us today and the days ahead.
Lord, may our lives testify to the truth of Jesus and point the world toward His sacrifice on the Cross, His resurrection, and His anticipated second coming. Maranatha, Lord Jesus! Come soon.

REMAIN STEADFAST UNDER TRIAL TO RECEIVE THD CROWN OF LIFE

30/03/2024
Gracious Heavenly Father, on this day of Your suffering , we remember and thank You for all the sacrifices You have done for us on the Cross.
Lord, as Your body lay in the tomb, remind us today that however sad, confused, and doubtful we may feel in our flesh, that You are always at work, and Your plans for us are good.
Lord, we acknowledge the price You paid to offer us the gift of eternal life. Your Son Jesus set us an example to remain faithful and wait for Your will to be done.
Lord, let our focus not fade away as we move forward after our Easter celebrations but constantly remind us to remain steadfast under any trials to receive the crown of life.
In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.Today’s Promise:

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. -
CHRIST HAS SET US FREE.

29/03/2024
Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege to see another blessed morning.
Lord, on this Good Friday we gather in one accord to remember the pain and suffering of Jesus on the Cross; to set us free and offer us the gift of eternal life. May we never take for granted His huge gift of love on us but be reminded of the cost of it all.
Lord, pardon us for our actions, when we, in our old self beat You, bruised You, mocked and tortured You through our actions. But You in turn showed us all grace and mercy flowing from Your wounded Heart. Thank You Lord.
Lord, we intercede at this time for the people of other faiths who have heard or not heard about Your sacrifice. Let the gospel of redemption through You be shared by us boldly to free them also from the bondages.
Lord, prepare our hearts to rejoice in You on the day of resurrection through which we received deliverance from every aspect of life's bondages.
Lord, make us one in the fullness of faith, so that we stand firm not to submit to the yoke of slavery of sins.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.Today’s Promise:
Galatians 5:1
For freedom, Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. -
OUR LORD IS FAITHFUL TO FORGIVE US

28/03/2024
Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed day.
Lord, as we commemorate and partake in the Holy Eucharist, help us to introspect ourselves and confess our sins with a truthful heart.
Lord, we often fail to reflect the humility as demonstrated by Your Son Jesus, to our neighbour on many occasions. Accept our pardon, we beseech You, for not being true to the confessions we made every time we came to the Eucharist table.
Lord, purge us & wash us with hyssop. Not just our feet which stood with mockers, our hands and head that were falsely raised and conspired against others.
Lord, may we understand Your love and forgiveness You bought us by Jesus' death and resurrection. Give us the confidence that You forgave our trespasses.
Lord, You being our Helper, may we reflect the humility You have taught us and be diligent in our actions and words and be more like You.
Lord, help us by Your Spirit to retain and reflect all the learnings through our meditation in the days to come.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.Today’s promise:
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins… -
OUR LORD’S GRACE BRINGS SALVATION TO ALL

27/03/2024
Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before You this morning and demonstrate our devotion through our praises today.
Lord, open our heart and mind to Your pure scrutiny and make us the aroma of Christ so that our prayers rise like pleasing incense to Your throne.
Lord, thank You for nourishing our lives this Lenten season with Your Word of Life. May we always remember that consequences of our sins only caused Jesus to stretch out His arms of love for us on Calvary's Cross.
Lord, we humble ourselves and truly believe that You accepted our fasting and prayers. Help us to rise above our human weakness and continue our prayerful journey.
Lord, shine through our life as we go out into the world. May we not just keep ourselves Your love and grace but tell of the wonders of Your grace that brings salvation to all.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today’s promise:
Titus 2:11
For the grace of God has appeared,
bringing salvation to all. -

OUR LORD’S SPIRIT ABIDES AMONG US

25/03/2024
Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for the blessed new week.
Lord, thank You for choosing to come among us in human form, to be *God with us* and *God for us* who on our behalf suffered the worst kind of death.
Lord, as we enter into the Holy Week, give us Your guidance and strength to walk with Jesus. Let the lessons we meditated during the Lent remain in our hearts and guide us in the days ahead.
Lord, in Your presence, we have nothing to boast about our love for You which we fail everyday. We can boast about only Your love on us which never fails.
Lord, You carried us close to Your bosom when we were down and comforted us. We seek Your pardon for the many moments we kissed to betray and fled away from You and yielded to satan's plan.
Lord, You are our Redeemer and Saviour. May Your Spirit that remains in our midst according to Your Covenant, lead us through the week.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today’s Promise:
Haggai 2:5
The Lord, “according to the covenant that I made with you….My Spirit remains in your midst. Fear not.” -
OUR LORD WILL RESTORE TO US DOUBLE

24/03/2024
Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before You as a family singing Your praises, “Hosanna to the Son of David”.
Lord, we gather in Your house of prayer to offer our own shouts of praise at Your coming. Enter into our lives and destroy the barriers and dividing walls of hostility within us and among us.
Lord, may we remember that it was Your great mercy and compassion that You sacrificed Your Son to suffer death upon the Cross to buy us redemption.
Lord, may we not stand with the crowd who cried out, "Crucify Jesus", but always remember the price He paid for our redemption.
Lord, as we begin our journey through the Holy Week, draw us closer to You and infuse our souls to sincerely meditate upon the bitter sufferings You went through, for our sake. Restore our lives as we submit ourselves to You.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today’s Promise:
Zechariah 9:12

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before You this morning with a thankful heart.
Lord, thank You for Your grace that provides all our need and care each day. Thank You for the amazing privilege of the indwelling Holy Spirit who desires us to be Holy in Your sight.
Lord, as we draw closer to the Lenten season, we come to You on our knees seeking Your pardon for the moments we went about boasting ourselves and about tomorrow.
Lord, may we be cautious and be aware that You resist the pride and disapprove of those who judge others. Strengthen us by Your Spirit to walk in meekness, purity, spirituality, and sincerity everyday.
Lord, we humbly kneel at the Cross and enter into the Holy Week confidently, that in Your grace, You will lift us up and set our feet on the Rock of our salvation. Draw near to us as we draw near to You.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today’s Promise:
Psalms 145:18
The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.
