Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.
Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.
Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".

A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.
Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.
Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.
Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.
Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for another day.
Lord, as we continue our journey through this Lenten season, may we put on a heart of compassion and kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience and become a new creation in Christ.
Lord, may we be obedient in thought, Word and deed to lead a life that is acceptable in Your sight, in our own family and to those in the wider community.
Lord, may we act as Your channel and carry out the message that, no one is excluded from drinking the living water of life that You offer.
Lord, may we not feel exhausted or thirsty to handle any situations we face but to handle it in a calm and a gentle way. May we be mindful of our actions and the words we speak that may hurt the thirsting souls around us.
Lord, let the well-spring of water that has been poured into our life stream out to all those with whom we come across and that they may know You as the water of their life.

THE EYE OF THE LORD IS ON THOSE WHO FEAR HIM

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of life You have bestowed upon us. May all that we do today be in accordance with Your will.
Lord, thank You for all the great things and countless wonders You have done for our sake. We rejoice that our names are written in heaven, even though we are unworthy. May we not forget this privilege, but remain faithful to You and serve You with gladness.
Lord, we intercede for everyone this morning. Be their Healer in their sickness, their Deliverer in their challenges and Comforter in their sadness. Continue to give them the strength and be their stronghold, their refuge and Savior.
Lord, we rely on the assurance of Your love that made You to sacrifice Your Son on the Cross that helps us in our journey of faith.
Lord, we fear You alone and place all other concerns before You. Let Your eyes watch over us and guide us.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we begin this week in Your name.
Lord, thank You for the lessons that we learnt / learn through Your scriptures. May we develop the attitude of praying for others, and be compassionate, hospitable, and gracious towards everyone.
Lord, may we not lose heart or grow weary in doing the good works that You have prepared for us to do. Grant us the patient endurance that comes only from You.
Lord, we commend all the work of our hands, this week.Let Your unseen hand lead us through ways we cannot see. Let everything that we do be for the glory of Your name and for the good of others.
Lord, help us not to be discouraged when things are difficult and do not happen as we expected. May we be bold and confident when facing challenges and not to dodge it.
.Lord, help us always to remember that You are with us and that we are not trying all alone; because You have promised never to fail us, or forsake us.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed worship Sunday. We come before You with praise and thanksgiving.
Lord, we seek You this morning, to meet with us, move in us, work through us and lead us forward in our journey of faith.
Lord, enable us to discern Your will and grow closer to You in worship so that we may be renewed in our hope and vision, strengthened in our faith and equipped to reveal You to the community in our midst.
Lord, stretch out Your hand and heal the spiritual and physical illness of every individual. Send out Your Word as we are not worthy to have You come under our roof. Restore our strength to our body and joy to our heart.
Lord, thank You for the assurance that Your heart is towards us, Your eyes are over us, and Your ears are open to our prayers. Guide and direct our steps each and everyday.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER, JUST AS JESUS LOVES US ALL

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace, patience and kindness which gives us the wholeness and peace during this Lent.
Lord, help us to comprehend the power of Your love for us, expressed through Your journey to the Cross, which was full of betrayal, grief, torture and darkness, to make way for us to be with You in glory forever.
Lord, may we, Your children, walk our journey towards the Cross prayerfully, humbly and purposefully. Let the power of Your spirit manifest through our weakness,
Lord, forgive our timidity, grant us peace and strength for our journey, that we might demonstrate our love in the life we live and share.

OUR LORD WILL GUARD US FROM THE EVIL ONE

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace this morning.
Lord, be the strength of our heart and our portion forever. Grant us such a measure of Your Spirit to deny ourselves and take up our Cross and follow You, to be Your disciples in Jesus Christ, the Crucified One.
Lord, may we look up toward Your Kingdom, even when we have to face suffering and afflictions, for , You have made suffering holy, and that our suffering too may bear fruit for You in time and in eternity.
Lord, during this season help us, in our feeble attempts, to make up for our past sins. Heal all our infirmities. Let our Prayer, Fasting and Charity be acceptable in Your sight.
Lord, we pray for all the Pastors, Preachers and all those committed to share the gospel with us during this Lent. Bless them with good health and safety. We also pray for all those who are highly vulnerable to threats and violence against them. Let Your mighty hands protect them from the radical groups who hinder their ministry.
Lord, we pray for ourselves, relatives and friends. Guard everyone of us from all evil, both seen and unseen, and keep us secure in Your loving care.

Gracious Heavenly Father, with Your strength revealed in our weakness, we have entered into the Lenten season.
Lord, grant us grace to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which we have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, and bearing with one another in love.
Lord, let Your empowerment embolden us to embrace the Cross and respond to the call to self denial amidst all distractions.
Lord, help us develop an unwavering fortitude and relentless commitment to Your purposes and in a manner worthy of the gospel of salvation thru' Jesus' Christ.
Lord, keep us strong and steadfast through temptations and through all the turmoil of life. So that You may dwell in our place and will not abhor us.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for ushering us into another day.
Lord, thank You for the precious gift of love You have given to all of us in this world. You showed Your love for us by sacrificing Your Son Jesus Christ, while we were still sinners, so that we may live.
Lord, may we unhesitatingly share the message of Your love to our neighbours through our words and actions.
Lord, help us to draw closer this season, into a deeper communion with You throughout the coming forty days. May each one of us understand that Your love is unconditional and You loved us with an everlasting love and have drawn us with unfailing kindness.
Lord, strengthen us by Your Spirit, when we are weak in our spirit. Create and make in us a clean and remorseful hearts, so that, our sins are blotted out and we receive perfect absolution and forgiveness.
Lord, we commit ourselves to spend time for inner reflection and self examination everyday to understand what is right and what is needed for repentance of our sin. Accept our confession and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

THE LORD CHASTENS US & HE BLOTS OUT OUR SINS

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace today.
Lord, thank You for the assurance that our prayers are answered if we pray without ceasing and continually ask, seek and knock with an undoubting faith. May we also learn to be persistent and serious about our requests we bring before You.
Lord, may we submit ourselves to Your act of chastening and understand that, it is to teach us Your law from sinning and to make us worthy in Your sight.
Lord, may we seek a spiritual renewal and a deeper relationship with You as we embark on another Lenten journey. May we not focus and satisfy ourselves by following the ceremonial aspects of the season but submit ourselves and walk with You, led by Your Holy Spirit.
Lord, may we be constantly reminded of the cost You paid to blot out our transgressions and not to remember our sins. Cleanse our heart and draw us closer to Your love and grace.

I, I am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins. -
ALL OUR CHILDREN SHALL BE TAUGHT BY THE LORD

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning.
Lord, we thank You for calling us 'Your people' and giving us the assurance of Your everlasting covenant. You promised never to draw back from doing good to us and our children, if we fear You.
Lord, let Your Spirit lead everyone in their work this week. Let them be joyful, creative, involved and sincere in their work and responsibilities.
Lord, we commend all the children who are preparing for their academic and professional exams. Grant every child with good health, wisdom, clarity of thought and a sound mind.
Lord, give every child the ability to recall of what they diligently prepared and to understand and write what is required of each question. Cast away every fear or distraction that may grip their minds.
Lord, we pray for the children whose education is discontinued due to various financial burden faced by their parents. Bless the efforts of the parents and grant the required favours from the institution to permit the children to sit thru' the exams.
Lord, we commend all other challenges that we may come across. Thank You for the promise that You would teach our children and shall grant us the prosperity.

All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the prosperity of your children.
