A Small Morning Family Prayer

31/01/2022
Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.
Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.
Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today’s Promise:
Jesus, “and whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Matthew 21:22 -
A Small Morning Family Prayer

29/01/2022
Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.
Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.
Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.
Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.
Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today’s promise:
I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” – Jeremiah 31:25 -
DO NOT FEAR. OUR LORD IS WITH US.

18/01/2026
Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before You rejoicing in our hearts.
Lord, as we gather in Your Church, may we focus on Your Word, align and set our minds on things that are above that comes from You and not on the earthly riches and comfort.
Lord, enable us to put on the new self and become a new creation. Help us to cloth ourselves with tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness and above all, love, which is the bond of perfection.
Lord, we pray for those who are bound by various addictions, fear, sickness, anxiety, debts, depression and spiritual oppression. Let them *not be limited* by their circumstances or past failures but be *restored* to their right mind.
Lord, we thank You for giving us all that we needed for our family. Help us to live our life to show that we belong to You. May we not fear but be faithful and bold enough to tell others of Your mercy and power.
Lord, be our strength and our protection. We hope in You, and put our lives in Your hands.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today’s Promise:
Isaiah 41:10
do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My victorious right hand. -
OUR LORD IS PERFECT IN HIS TIMING.

17/01/2026
Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before You early this morning with our hearts full of gratitude.
Lord, even when we do not and cannot see the purpose behind each season of our life, we trust in Your perfect timing. You are the Sovereign Lord over time and all creation and You hold our future in Your hands.
Lord, we submit ourselves to live with gratitude for each gift we have received, and find joy in Your presence.
Lord, forgive us, when we do not thank You enough, for who You are, for all that You do, and for all that You have given us.
Lord, be our Rock, our Refuge, and our Strength - in every season, in every trial, and in every moment of uncertainty. May we rest in Your divine certainty of Your faithfulness.
Lord, we do not rely on our strength, but on Christ in whom all promises are "Yes", and say "Amen" to Your assurances of comfort, provision, guidance, and eternal life.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today’s Promise:
2 Corinthians 1:20
For in Him everyone of God’s promises is a “Yes.” For this reason it is through Him that we say the “Amen,” to the glory of God. -

Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. You are just, and in control of our every situation, abounding in Your mercy and grace. May we be reminded constantly of Your presence beside us always, especially when doubts arise and burdens our heart.
Lord, we lift up all those who are sick and weak. Be present near them now—touch their bodies with Your healing grace, strengthen and fill their spirits with Your peace that surpasses understanding.
Lord, console and comfort those who are going through various sufferings and emergency situations. Be with those who feel abandoned and deprived of confidence due to failures.
Lord, let the truth that You can make all things work together for good and nothing is impossible with You, be fulfilled in their life.

08/01/2026
Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for adding another blessed day.
Lord, thank You for establishing us on the firm foundation of Your Word. Help us to stay away from selfish ambition and conceit, that may separate us from You and neighbours.
Lord, give us a spirit of humility and a heart of service, keeping the interests of others in mind. Bestow on us the gifts of joy and goodness that will bring hope in everyone's hearts.
Lord, increase in our life we beseech You, and may we decrease, so that the blessings You pour through us draw others closer to You.
Lord, we submit all the aching concerns of everyone because You care for us and for everyone. May we grow in grace together and show compassion for each other bringing honour and glory to Your Holy name.
Lord, may our thoughts align with Your Word that teaches us to bear one another's burdens and prove ourselves to be worthy and sincere enough of our calling.
Lord, help us to produce much fruit in the power of the Holy Spirit, to Your praise and glory.
