     Gracious Heavenly Father, we (I) thank You for this day of grace. 
     Lord, we (I) thank You for the Spirit that helps us (me) with light shining on the paths we (I) must follow on this earth. 
     Lord, thank You for giving us (me) the privilege to know and experience the glorious gospel of grace and redemption through Your Son Jesus Christ.
     Lord, thank You that Jesus is the propitiation for our (my) sins, identifed with our (my) sinfulness and with His sacrificial death and HIS wonderful resurrected life.
     Lord, we (I) kneel at the Cross, and leave every care. May we (I) cherish and cling on to the old rugged Cross on which You suffered and died to pardon and to sacntify us (me). We (I) thank You for loving us (me) and drawing us (me) with Your unfailing kindness.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
