     Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for giving us another day.
      Lord, we thank You for Your presence amidst us to lead and guide all our  intercessions and petitions.
      Lord, this morning, we gather together as a family, in one accord for the protection of Your people. Walk closely beside each one of us, during this time of various issues that poses threat to the community. 
     Lord, let the hedge of protection surround all our institutions, churches and all those involved in Your ministry.
      Lord, we long for Your day, the day when Your power will be revealed in us. May we  profess our faith with zeal and gratitude in these trying times. Be with us, and give our hearts the strength to face boldly the days ahead.
      In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know Your name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seekYou.
