     Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. 
     Lord,  thank You for the gift of grace and redemption through Christ.
     Lord, guide us by Your spirit to walk aright in our ways. We, as a family look upto You for the guidance in all our transactions. May we respect and be compassionate with all those we are to interact today.
     Lord, grant us the gift of discernment, so that we are empathetic, understanding others and not be judgemental. It's only You who can read a human heart.
     Lord, help us to focus on whatever is good, whatever is praiseworthy and whatever is beautiful.
     Lord, forgive us our trespasses; lead us and walk beside us. May we show mercy, to get mercy.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
