     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for the new day and the new week You have given us.
     Lord, today give us the courage in all that we do, to have faith in Your power and that we may not rest on human wisdom.
     Lord, may we share the courage with others that they may also rest on Your power. Help us share Your love and understanding to all those we meet today.
     Lord, take control of all our actions and direct us the way we should go. Let every task that we engage with and every interaction with others we come across, be guided by You so that we do not indulge ourselves in things that bring disgrace to Your name.
     Lord when we feel low, help us to remember that Your love towards us is great and Your faithfulness endures forever. 
     In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
