     Gracious Heavenly Father,  thank You for this blessed new day. 
     Lord, as we enter this new week, we seek Your presence and infinite unconditional goodness. Cast away all anxiety that may discourage us and weaken our faith. 
     Lord, forgive us for neglecting to follow You as You lead us into green pastures and beside the still waters. May we follow You with our whole heart, along the paths of righteousness.    
     Lord, You are in control of our life and the lives of every one. Replenish our mind & soul, our body & spirit so that we find rest in You and with You.
     Lord, we submit all our needs and the work of everyone under Your divine care. Encircle us around our family, friends and relatives, so that we are safe in Your hands. Hide us under Your pinions. You are our shield and our rampart.  
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
