     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed, merciful day.
     Lord, thank You for giving  us new hearts and teaching us a new way on earth to become one in Christ. 
     Lord, may we nail our self-righteous efforts, to the Cross and be guided day by day, by the Holy Spirit into all truth, to Your praise and glory. 
     Lord, let our gratitude inspire us to cherish each day, to forgive one another, and to pray for each other continually. Let our prayers be a source of comfort and strength to those around us, and Your love and presence be felt in every home and community. 
     Lord, thank You for blessing our family and friends, and for the loving care which surrounds us on every side. Help us to put forth our best efforts to accomplish the tasks You have entrusted to us. 
     Lord, as we journey through this Advent season, let Your peace be restored in our hearts through You, to the glory of Your Holy name.
