     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day filled with Your grace and mercy.
     Lord, on this “International Nurses Day",  we thank You for the life of nurses in the Bible and the life of Florence Nightingale who gave their own time, resources, and comfort to aid the sick and the wounded.
     Lord, pour out Your Spirit and bless all the nurses, who chose to carry on the legacy as a nurse to fulfill their highest calling in the healing ministry. 
     Lord, strengthen them by the Holy Spirit, as they tirelessly strive for the well-being of the patients - through long hours of work, various challenges, physical and emotional exhaustion.
     Lord, we pray with gratitude for blessing them with skill and precision, enabling them to bring forth restoration and relief to the sick.
     Lord, may we as families, patients and the society. appreciate, support and encourage their services. Let the truest joy and grace that comes from You, surround them always.
     Lord, we pray for ourselves. Strengthen us as we go out and proclaim the good news for the spiritual healing of our neighbours.
