     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day.
     Lord, we begin this day trusting and relying on Your unchanging faithfulness rather than our own strength.
     Lord, may we not give up or feel let down in trials but rejoice. May we seek Your counsel in every decision / situation and listen to Your Spirit for direction.
     Lord, we realize that our suffering produces endurance, character and hope that does not disappoint us and does not put us to shame.
     Lord, reach out to every family fighting the emotional, physical and various other worldly battles, with Your healing and restoration of peace. Transform their tears of distress into tears of joy.
     Lord, let every one of us enter this day boldly trusting in Your promise that, "You will go before us, and will not fail or forsake us". 
     In Jesus'name we pray, Amen.
