     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed weekend Saturday.
     Lord, as we rest on this weekend, may we rejoice, stay grateful, and walk through today with joy and faith. 
     Lord, thank You for leading us in paths of peace, even when Your ways are mysterious and beyond our understanding.
     Lord, let the shield of protection rest upon  every family’s physical and spiritual well-being. Guard us from the snares that may bring doubts or make us walk astray.     
     Lord, may we stand firm in the faith and act in a way that does not dishonour Your name. Grant  us the wisdom to discern Your will and the courage to follow.
     Lord, use us to be a vessel of Your unconditional love in the lives of all we meet today. Make them know that it is Christ who loves them through us.
     Lord, we thank You for Your indwelling Holy Spirit that gives us the power and love and self control. Let the flame of Your spiritual gift fan upon others as we interact with them.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
