     Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for being gracious to us and adding  another new week. 
     Lord, we come before You, acknowledging that You hear the desires of the afflicted. 
     Lord, we trust in Your promise to be with us and never to leave us or forsake us, even when everyone else does. 
     Lord, strengthen us to extend whatever possible ways we can, from our capacity, to alleviate the  suffering of our neighbours..
     Lord, grant us the wisdom and guidance in all that we attempt to do. Establish the work of our hands and make us abundantly prosperous in all the work of our hands.
     In Jesus'  name we pray, Amen.
