The blood of Christ drew us near to Him. He has taught us to love our neighbours as He has loved us.

30/08/2026

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed worship Sunday.
Lord, thank You for Your grace and meriful love that drew us near to You and to enter into a covenantal relationship with You.
Lord, thank You for pardoning our sins, by which we are no longer separated from You but are positioned in Christ and clothed in His righteousness.
Lord, may we not be selfish and live for ourselves but love our neighbours.Help us to see the world as You see it, feel the compassion as You feel it.
Lord, may we be the people whose lives mediate Your love to others. Open our hands to give others, as You have given. Show us to go out of our way, to serve and to bless our neighbours.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Today’s Promise:
And He said to him, β€œ do this (love your neighbour), and you will live.

Luke 10:28

  2. Dear Sirs,

    Error in this para:

Lord, thank You for Your grace and meriful love that drew us near to You and to enter into a covenantal relationship with You.

Should read “… that DRAWS us near to You …” because God DRAWS us near to Him constantly. It cannot remain in the past.

    Thank you for your attention.

    Be in Christ.

    Marilyn
