     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for adding another new day to our life. 
     Lord, we wait upon You with hope and eager expectation, learning from the example of Jesus who waited quietly on the Father’s will. 
     Lord, we wait upon You, with courage and confidence that You hear our cry and will bring about Your perfect purpose in Your perfect time.
     Lord, strengthen us by Your Spirit, to engage ourselves in active spiritual disciplines, at the time of waiting. Let our waiting period be a time of spiritual growth and preparation rather than an idle wasted time. 
     Lord, may we cultivate a deeper relationship with You through prayer, scriptures and worship. 
     Lord, may we maintain a posture of faith and patience, trusting that Your plans are perfect. 
     Lord, may we involve ourselves in the acts of service to others and align our actions with Your heart of steadfast love. 
     Lord, may *we count* all the blessings of the past and cultivate in us, a spirit of thankfulness.
     Lord, grant us Your strength as we wait patiently in humble submission, for, You are good to those who wait for You.
