Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed day.
Lord, thank You for the assurance of Your forgiveness of our trespasses. Wash us thoroughly from our iniquities and cleanse us from all our sins.
Lord, give us a contrite heart, to acknowledge Your mercies that are new every morning and seek repentance that leads to spiritual cleansing and restoration.
Lord, we confess that we have not always walked in spirit and truth, but have often fallen to our own desires.
Lord, clear away all the obstacles that hinder our relationship, so that we walk in Your righteousness and Your judgment can be merciful towards us.
Lord, thank You for the promise that You are faithful to forgive all our sins and to keep cleansing us from unrighteousness.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
