Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed, mercy filled day.
Lord, we thank and claim Your promise that assures to grant us strength and to fill us with peace when we love and obey Your laws/commands.
Lord, we acknowledge that we are weak, fickle minded, and are prone to error and go astray, and cannot uphold Your laws on our own strength. Grant us Your power and replace our frailty. Strengthen us to endure difficult times and to resist sinful impulses.
Lord, when we feel overwhelmed or tempted to break the law, remind us that in our weakness, You are strong and mighty.
Lord, it is You who would grant us courage to stand firm in righteousness and the grace to overcome our failures. Grant us Your peace and love for Your will and Your word so that nothing can make us stumble.
