Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this Saturday morning.
Lord, we gather together in Your presence and stand in awe of Your greatness, goodness and Your infinite power and wisdom.
Lord, instil in us a deep reverence for Your authority, not born of reluctance, but of love and respect for Your holiness, so that our life reflects Your goodness.
Lord, our Creator, You are mighty in protecting and sheltering those who trust in You, through all the storms and distress of the world.
Lord, may we, as Your chosen people, rejoice in Your covenant loyalty, steadfast love and trust and in Your unchanging counsel.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Today’s Promise:
Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who maintains covenant loyalty with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations.
