Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us into the month of November.
Lord, as we celebrate the ‘All Saints’ Day, we commemorate and honour the great cloud of faithful men and women who have gone before us and now stand before Your throne.
Lord, we thank You for the lives of martyrs who gave their all, the missionaries who brought the gospel to us, the faithful unseen saints and every other soul who loved and served the mankind.
Lord, may we be inspired to emulate their virtues, particularly the faith and hope, which they taught us through their life of testimony.
Lord, we pray for all those who have recently lost their dear ones. As these families commemorate the life of the departed soul, let them be comforted and rest in the promise of Your presence always with them.
Lord, we pray for ourselves as we journey through this month. May we fear not but be reminded that we are of more value than many sparrows and that You have plans that gives us hope, future and prosperity.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
