A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.
Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.
Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".

A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.
Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.
Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.
Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.
Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

REMEMBER – YOU WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your presence with us throughout the week.
Lord, You have not forgotten us.. But we, in our weakness, would have forgotten You and fallen short of Your standard of perfection and purity. Pardon us for bringing moments of disgrace to You by our actions.
Lord, examine our inner heart and secret thoughts and cleanse us, and prepare us to get closer to You as we gather to worship You tomorrow.
Lord, live in us and work through us for Your glory. And make us pure and holy in Your sight.
Lord, strengthen us and equip us to live a witnessing life so that You are revealed to our community. We commend every member of our family, take us under Your care and use us for Your glory.

THE LORD KNOWS THE PLAN FOR OUR WELFARE

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Lord, we praise and thank You, for allowing us to live another beautiful day under Your protection. You are always full of grace and mercy. Lord, thank You for reminding us that You are the one who sustain us and satisfy us each day with mercies that are new every morning. Lord, may we not fret but wait patiently for Your time. Let the plans You have for each one of us, to prosper and not to harm us, be fulfilled in Your time. Thank You for this love that endures forever. Lord, we commend all of us today as we begin to do our work. May we have a pleasant and a safe day guided by You. We close this week with gratitude in our hearts. WHOEVER HUMBLES LIKE A CHILD IS THE GREATEST

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us a safe night and a blessed morning. Lord, this morning, help us to understand that the "greatest" in the kingdom is the one who humbles himself like a child. Lord, we have no control over the situations we face. Like children, we depend on You and fear You. Protect us and provide our needs. Make us worthy to receive the reward of riches, honor and life. Lord, let our family and every other family this morning, understand Your word and acquire that level of humility in relationship to faith in Christ. May we be willing to be the least of all, free from malice, pride and self seeking ambition. Lord, we place our total dependence on You. Work through us to accomplish what was needed for Your glory and to become worthy to enter Your kingdom. THE LORD SHALL RENEW YOUR STRENGTH

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace this morning.
Lord, we draw strength to our hearts through Your Word. May we patiently keep Your word to be worthy enough to be saved from the hour of trial.
Lord, we rejoice over the promises revealed through us to the glory of Your name. We trust You in every aspect of our lives. Protect us on all our ways. Help us to always watch and wait for the coming of Your kingdom.
Lord, may we not be confused by the present-day events. Help us to remain free from the fear of this world, so that we may serve You and not go astray.
Lord, grant us Your Holy Spirit in everything, for, without Your Spirit we are nothing and can do nothing. Accept our praise for the many ways You have helped us and all that is given to us.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we lift our hearts and voice to You this morning, in prayers of thanks and praise.
Lord, we bring our intercession and petitions and lay them up before the throne of Your Grace.
Lord, our hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus' blood and righteousness. Awaken and sustain our hope in You. We trust in Your promise which assures that everything will work together for good, for those who love You.
Lord, fill our hearts with compassion on everyone and not avenge the wrongs of our neighbours. We bless everyone and continually honor Your name and remain praising you.

THE LORD IS OUR STRONGHOLD

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this morning.
Lord, thank You for revealing Your compassion and fullness of Life through Your Son Jesus Christ.
Lord, as we begin this week, establish our ways. Help us to remember and remain focused on our commitments made to You; to remain truthful, to fear You, and wait for Your time.
Lord, may we be prudent in the management of the responsibilities given to each one of us as Your people, who fear God and become trustworthy in Your sight.
Lord, may we overflow in joy and rich generosity and be wise stewards of Your manifold gifts, so that we are called , "blessed" , and live in the land of delight.
Lord, who love justice establish our steps. Your children are preserved forever, for, You are our stronghold.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed Sunday.
Lord, we thank You, for giving us grace, by our confession of faith. Keep us steadfast in this faith and accept our worship as we gather to acknowledge and worship the eternal Trinity in the majesty of unity.
Lord, cast away from us, our rhetoric behaviour and help us to move beyond our lofty words, to do Your will. May we be true to our confessions and submissions and be doers of Your word.
Lord, we commit ourselves to You to stretch us and change us. Help us progress to greater heights in our spiritual lives.
Lord, may we be counted among those who not only hear Your word and meditate but practice and be the doers of Your word.

THE LORD GOES BEFORE YOU

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us safe to the beginning of a new day and close of this week
Lord, thank You for giving us the strength of mind through Your Spirit, that enabled us to endure adversity with courage.
Lord, it was not our mental fortitude that helps (ed) us to face each day but Your promise that " You would leave nor forsake us ". May we be firm in our hope. Help us to serve You with quiet hearts and minds, everyday.
Lord, embolden us to proclaim Your name boldly to this world. Help us to enhance our spirituality each day. May we not return to our falsehood often but be mindful of Your care and comfort given to us.
Lord, grant us Your grace and subdue our iniquities. Even though we are not worthy, You restored our life and doubled up the gladness to our hearts.
Lord, glory of the living, hope of the dying lead, us by Your grace, that we may always live a life pleasing to You and remain truthful to You at all times.

THANKSGIVING

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for this morning. Lord, even if we had ten thousand tongues it just wouldn' t be enough to say "Thank You". Lord,"thank You", for being our Good Shepherd and guarding us in the time of adversities. Lord, "thank You", for watching over our thoughts and preventing us from speaking amiss. Lord, "thank You" , for turning all curses into blessings on each one of us. Lord, "thank You" for pouring out Your Spirit and emboldening us to live a life without fear. Lord, "thank You", for the shelter, our health, wealth, our children, elders in our family, relatives and friends. Lord, "thank You" , for the occasions in our family to celebrate and for the moments of Your comfort when we faced losses. Your presence strengthened us, always. Accept our thanksgiving, this morning. THE LORD WILL ESTABLISH YOUR PLANS

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day filled with Your grace and mercy.
Lord, we seek Your presence and surrender ourselves to You. Thank You for sheltering us under Your wings and keeping us from the sickness of body and soul that can do us any lasting harm.
Lord, You have rescued us from so many tribulations. When we faced difficulty, we called upon Your name, and You delivered us. May we remember this and not squabble over petty things but remain thankful to You.
Lord, at this time we pray for those who do not know who to call when in distress and when in trouble. Protect them and deliver them, as You have protected us, when we walked through such moments.
Lord, who reign the world, who first loved us, we place our tenacious faith in You. Shower Your favor upon us and establish Your plans today.
