A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.
Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.
Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".

A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.
Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.
Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.
Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.
Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for giving our hearts, hope for Your kingdom.
Lord, may we do Your commandments and become worthy to experience Your steadfast love on us and Your righteousness on our children's children.
Lord, help us to see and protect the vision of Your throne and experience Your kingdom that rules over all, in our family and Church.
Lord, may we find new youthfulness and courage, and discover that Your kingdom shall come soon and Your will be done as it is in heaven.
Lord, thank You for all Your benefits, forgiving of our sins, redeeming our life from the pit, giving us spiritual and physical health and crowning us with Your love and compassion.

GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS

Gracious Heavenly Father, whose eyes keep watching over us day and night, we come before You with a thankful heart for the mercies shown towards us.
Lord, thank You for nourishing our souls with patience and comforting us with Your goodness.
Lord, we are Yours, for You have chosen us; to be strong and to be freed from all evils. Help us, we beseech You.
Lord, thank You for Your Word that bring us blessings beyond measures.

HIS COVENANT OF PEACE SHALL REMAIN

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before You this morning to have fellowship with You. Lord, thank You for teaching us the beattitudes of Christ. May we display them by keeping ourselves very close sweet fellowship with You. Lord, even though we are unworthy, You did not give up on us but gave us more than what we do not deserve. You showed us Your mercy and love. You redeemed our life and clothed us in the righteousness. Lord, may we keep ourselves away from our transgressions. Rule over the world and give Your mercy to all the people. Lord, we commend the people of all nations. Protect us from the rising threats to our life through various schemes that are rolled out. Weaken all the plans that are determined on destroying our faith in You. Lord, we rejoice and are glad, for, the reward we await is great in heaven. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today's Promise: ".....but My steadfast love shall not depart from you, and My covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you. GOD’s LOVE IS PERFECTED

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this bright morning. Thank You for Your Word, greatest and most glorious of all that is given to us.
Lord, we feel and rejoice in the new help, new strength, and new courage for life given by your Word.
Lord, may we be alert in our daily life to listen to Your voice through Your word. Counsel us to understand Your ways and plans You have for us.
Lord, we entrust ourselves and all our commitments of today into Your hands.

HIS WORD DOES NOT RETURN EMPTY

Gracious Heavenly Father, our source of life, thank You for this blessed day. We enter into this day trusting in Your promise that You will give us Your Spirit, and will be with us as we journey through this life. Lord, make our home worthy to be a dwelling place for You and the Son Jesus Christ. May we listen to Your guidance and set our course and go one step forward, one day at a time. Lord, we bring the petitions of all our friends. Help them to stay strong in their faith and see You at work. Bless them today, for they too deserve all goodness You have given to us. Lord, we surrender ourselves to Your will. Give us enough strength to endure any trail that awaits us during the day. Lord, send us Your Word. The Word that will accomplish it's purpose and succeed in the thing for which You send it. OUR WORK SHALL BE REWARDED

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day filled with riches of Your eternal grace and for all that You are holding for us in heaven. Lord, pour out in great measure, Your never-failing grace, Your matchless mercy, and Your inner peace which is beyond human understanding. Lord, we are not called according to our own merit but by Your grace and Your grace alone. Lord, let this grace remain in our hearts and encourage us to develop our qualities of faithfulness, fortitude and forbearance. Lord, may we be strong and be courageous in our Christian walk. Make us worthy to receive the reward You have for us. Use us for Your greater praise and glory. Lord, fulfill the purpose You have for each one of us. May we not be tired in doing things that pleaseth You. Stay with us and awaken our hearts to be prepared at all times to receive the reward You have kept for us. THE LORD HEARS US

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this new week full of hope and joy. Lord, we thank You for Your eagerness to hear our prayers and more concerned to respond to them than we expect You to be. Lord, Your grace has provided all that we have needed thus far. We remain confident that You will continue to provide. Lord, we commend this week into Your hands. Be with us and with our work, our travel plan and our various commitments. We pray for all those expecting new career openings and favourable answers for their long awaited issues. Lord, be with all the children, and all the aged members of our family and friends. Give them protection, strength and good health. Lord, be with those who are undergoing treatment for their illnesses. Bless their medication and their diet advise. Touch them and heal them. Lord, we fear not. Guide us, protect us and guard us. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today's promise For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, "Fear not, I am the one who helps you. Isaiah 41:13

THE LORD IS NEAR TO ALL

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed Sunday.
Lord, thank You for the privilege given to gather in Your sanctuary in one accord and offer our prayers and sing praises to Your holy name.
Lord, may we realise and understand the meaning of the prayer of confession. May we be truly sorry and repent of all our sins committed against You and our fellow men, in thought and word and deed.
Lord, cleanse us and make us worthy to come to Your table. Not according to our merits but through pardoning of our sins. Fill us with Your grace and mercy to continue to live our life, pleasing to You.
Lord, we pray for other worship places where Your children gather in small places and houses with less or no proper resources or safety and are highly vulnerable to disturbances of various nature. We pray for those who could not join the fellowship for various reasons. Bless them.
Lord, be near to us. For, we call upon You in truth.

THE LORD IS GOOD

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for watching over us through the night and waking us with the sweet whisper of Your love.
Lord, thank You for the sunrise of Your mercy that visits each family, and allows grace to flow freely upon us. We thank You for the unexpected and unmerited favours You shower upon us.
Lord, thank You for answering our petitions placed before You and the intercessions made on behalf of everyone.Thank You for forgiving us our trespasses.
Lord, thank You for the comfort and consolation given through Your promise to those who were depressed and disappointed due to various challenges within the family and at the work place.
Lord, may we not remember the moments of grief, fear or hopelessness that we came across this week. Instead, may we spend time to count and thank You for those moments You carried us through and delivered us.
Lord, You are good. We thank You.

THE LORD SHALL TEACH OUR CHILDREN

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this graceful morning given to our family. Lord, thank You for holding each member of the family by Your hand and leading us on all our ways. Thank You for Your protection through every temptation and through all changing scenes of life. Lord, we commend all the children into Your hands. Be their shield and fortress. Let no evil thoughts gain entry into their mind.. Guard their hearts against any ungodly misguidance. Lord, be their Guardian in the hours when they are away from their parents. Give every parent Your wisdom to train them up in the way he or she should go. Strengthen the family bonding between the parents and the children, with Your love. Lord, cast a hedge around each family and keep away the fowler's trap. Make every child a blessing to their parents and to the community. Teach them and give them Your peace. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.Today's Promise: All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children. Isaiah 54:13
