A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.
Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.
Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.
Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.
Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.
Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.
Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we (I) thank You for this day of grace. Lord, we (I) thank You for the Spirit that helps us (me) with light shining on the paths we (I) must follow on this earth. Lord, thank You for giving us (me) the privilege to know and experience the glorious gospel of grace and redemption through Your Son Jesus Christ. Lord, thank You that Jesus is the propitiation for our (my) sins, identifed with our (my) sinfulness and with His sacrificial death and HIS wonderful resurrected life. Lord, we (I) kneel at the Cross, and leave every care. May we (I) cherish and cling on to the old rugged Cross on which You suffered and died to pardon and to sacntify us (me). We (I) thank You for loving us (me) and drawing us (me) with Your unfailing kindness. Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for the blessed new week. Lord, strengthen us by Your Spirit as we journey through this Holy week. Let the lessons we meditated during the Lent remain in our hearts and guide us in the days ahead. Lord, thank You for sending Your Son on our behalf who took on human flesh and suffered the worst kind of death. Lord, we have nothing to boast about ourselves before Your sacrifice. It's only in Christ that we can boast of. Lord, while You sought pardon for our sins, we denied You. We fell prey to the weakness of our flesh. Pardon us. Lord, You carried us close to Your bosom when we were down and comforted us. We in turn kissed to betray and fled away from You and yielded to satan's plan. Lord, with deep regret in our hearts, we beg Your pardon. You are our Redeemer and Saviour . Strengthen us by Your Spirit and lead us through the week. Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before You as a family singing Your praises, “Hosanna to the Son of David”.
Lord, as we enter into the Holy week, we remember and commemorate the triumphant entry of Your Son Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, as the Lamb of God to redeem us from sins.
Lord, it was Your great mercy that You chose to become like us, taking on human form and suffered death upon the Cross.
Lord, we acknowledge and understand the tenderness and compassion of Christ that surrounds us each moment. May we remain faithful in word and deed, and to love You always.
Lord, in this world of sadness and sorrow give us the confidence to triumph over the evil, as we march with Him into our future.
Lord, accept our prayers and thanksgiving offered to You. Continue to be with us, as we begin our journey through Holy Week and help us to draw closer to you.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we take delight and come before You this morning with a thankful heart.
Lord, we thank You for strengthening us by Your Spirit to focus on You, meditate on Your Word and to fix our eyes on Your Son Jesus.
Lord, thank You for Your promise that we will be like trees planted by the water; our roots spread by the river, and we will not fear the drought.
Lord, we commend our family into Your divine care. Help us to be a worthy witness of Your loving-kindness and great love upon our family. Let our children delight in You and Your Word.
Lord, we intercede for the children who go through difficult situations due to instability in their families. Let peace prevail upon them as they struggle to cope with their studies amidst their family challenges.
Lord, let Your presence be with them and encourage them to trust in You to move forward. Be their Counsellor and their Guide.
Lord, we trust in You. Let our leaves still be green and bear fruit in the midst of any struggles that we may face. May we be firm in this belief.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come to Your presence in oneness, realising Your greatness. You are an awesome God, who keeps the covenant and steadfast love. Lord, accept our prayers this morning. Let Your hand be upon us and provide all the mercies we need. May we find favour in Your sight today. Let no sadness of our heart overshadow the happy moments we are to experience today given by Your grace. Lord, we accept our shortcomings and trespasses against You. Forgive us, for, we are Your people redeemed by Your great power and by Your strong hand. Lord, may we cling on to our confession of hope and remain faithful., so that we will raise and build for Your glory. Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed day.
Lord, open our (my) ears in the quietness of this morning to identify Your voice, calling us (me) by our names (my name) to follow You.
Lord, thank You for being our (my) Good Shepherd, leading us (me) through the Door, to be saved and to find green pasture.
Lord, we pray for (my) every other need(s) of our brethren. You have promised us (me) to give life in its fullness. We commend all of us and our children into Your divine care. Take care of us.
Lord, grant us serenity to live amidst all odds and challenges of this world, living one day at a time. Yesterday is gone and with it any regrets, mistakes, or failures we (I) may have experienced.
Lord, we are (I am) Your sheep. May we (I) hear Your voice and follow You. Help us (me) to live our (my) life pleasing in Your sight so that we (I) do not perish but receive the eternal life You have kept for us (me).

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day filled with Your loving kindness that is new every morning.
Lord, we come before You, seeking Your guidance to do Your will. You are our God, great and almighty. Your Spirit fills the heaven and the earth.
Lord, You are our Father ! In You alone we have a refuge, wherever we go in serving You on this earth.
Lord, we are weak and unworthy in our spirit. Strengthen us by Your Spirit to live a Christ like life and be called a true Christian.
Lord, thank You for all the insights we learnt through our journey during this Lent. May we hold Your teachings close to our heart and move ahead in our life.
Lord, prepare us all to travel on new paths that are ahead of us. Lead us by Your Spirit and show us the way to the good and to Your honor.
Lord, go before us and make our paths level and firm . May Your Spirit make us stand in the unshakable hope that Your will shall at last be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this new day gracefully given to us for a new start.
Lord, thank You for refreshing our minds with Your Spirit with which we are able to see the path ahead clearly, and handle everything smoothly that we undertake each day.
Lord, it is You who is with us; greater than those whom we are to face. May we not fall for the schemes of this world but remain closer to You, always.
Lord, thank You for the plans You have for us, which are infinitely beyond our understanding.
Lord, we present ourselves completely humble and always prepared to testify to this world for the hope we have in You.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for gracefully adding another week to everyone. Lord, we seek You at the dawn of today to receive Your mercies that are new every morning. Lord, as we begin this week we commend into Your hands all our personal and professional responsibilities, all travel plans and all other commitments that are ahead of us. Guide us and strengthen us. Lord, may we not feel the emptiness at any time, instead feel Your presence and stay true to the relationship we have with You. May we be aligned more and more with the track You have laid out for us. Lord, thank You for fulfilling our desire. May our actions reflect Your guidance and bring glory to You.
