A Small Morning Family Prayer

     Gracious Heavenly  Father, thank You for safely bringing  us to the close of this week to see another  blessed beautiful morning.
     Lord, we seek Your pardon for the moments we failed to thank and praise You. You are a loving God who continued to guard us from evil and  bitter things that may have tried to gain an entry into our hearts and home. We thank You.
     Lord, let our preparation for our worship be sincere and worthy in Your sight. Grant us that our lives may shine like the lights of love and goodness to our neighbours, that bring credit to Your name and honour to our Master. 
     In Jesus'  name we pray, Amen.

Today's promise:
In the same way, let your  light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16

     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day of grace added to our life.
     Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us each day and for protecting our family from all the snares and dangers.
     Lord, we pray in humility of a heart, seeking transformation of our mind into the mind of Christ so that we may think about the interests of others, and the to be a channel of Your love to others.
     Lord, it is You, who alone is worthy to receive all honour and praise.  We pray that we draw ever closer to You. 
     Lord, may Your Spirit make us of one mind with Jesus Christ. Make all our relationships with others not  to judge but to submit in patience, better to serve and  love them with the Savior in every step of our ways.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for adding another blessed day.
     Lord, we have gained access through our faith in You. Our hearts are unshaken, clear and steady, because, our hope is placed on nothing less than Your gracious love that we boast of, and that we are not put to shame. 
     Lord, we learnt to rejoice and persevere through our sufferings. Now, we bring before You the petitions of all those who seek Your intervention on various fears and unresolved individual and family concerns. Let them not grow weary or faint-hearted but learn to persevere in their sufferings. 
     Lord, as You have given us rest, give them also rest and assurance as they come to You, burdened and heavy laden. 
     Lord, watch over us and keep us in the certainty that Your kingdom will come and all of us can receive the good You have planned for each one of us 
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

    Gracious Heavenly Father, we begin this day trusting on Your living Word.
     Lord, let Your Word work within us and allow us to rejoice in You. May we not deceive ourselves by just being hearers, but be doers of Your living word.
     Lord, touch the lives of all those filled with sadness, sickness and bitterness this morning. Even as they experience hard and bitter times, let them be comforted when Your will and Your Word are fulfilled.
     Lord, we are painfully aware of our sinful nature and are not worthy to have You come under our roof, but only say the word, and all our spiritual, mental and physical sickness will be healed.
     Lord, we commend all those who haven't heard about the living Word. We own up the responsibility to share Your powerful Word of redemption with them.
     Lord, encourage us and inspire our concrete actions to move forward. For, Your Word which will not pass away, is a lamp to our feet and light to our paths.
     In Jesus'  name we pray, Amen.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day. 
     Lord, through Your word we understand that our courage and strength given by You can make us succeed in all our endeavours.
     Lord we commit ourselves to:
    - avail ourselves  to pray everyday.
    - pray on every suitable occasion.
    - pray in the Spirit.
    - be alert and persevering in the discharge of our duty.
    -pray for all the saints and those in Your ministry.
     Lord, help us to keep our eyes open and our ears attentive to the prayer we bring to Your presence.
     Lord, we believe that more things are wrought by Prayer when we pray without ceasing.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
