A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day. 

Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight  that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way. 

Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ;  be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations. 

Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow. 

Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive". 

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week. 

Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that  strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always. 

Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares. 

Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight. 

Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood.  Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants. 

Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed Sunday morning.
     Lord, thank You for giving us yet another opportunity to have a Holy fellowship with You and Your Son Jesus Christ. May we be true to this fellowship by walking away from the darkness.
     Lord, we humbly present ourselves to You and seek  Your pardon, and, with true repentance implore Your mercy. 
     Lord, we thank You for the new hope and new blessings You have in store for us. We commend all the concerns of each one of us. Give charge over Your angels to guard us in our ways so that we will not walk in darkness and strike our foot against a stone. You are our Refuge.
     In Jesus' name we pray,  Amen.

     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace, patience and kindness.
     Lord, thank You for walking with us each day, and quenching our thirst with the living water and feeding us with Your bread of life.
     Lord, we commend this weekend into Your hands. Thank You for blessing the earnings of everyone. Thank You for the healing You brought upon the sick. Thank You for answering our every petition and for the various new blessings added to Your children.
     Lord, prepare our minds for tomorrow's worship. Annoint the preachers with Your Spirit, as they meditate upon Your word. Accept our prayers and offerings brought to Your altar.
     Lord, even though we deserve the punishment, You set us free from our sinful nature, You gave us Your unending love, compassion, grace and mercy to all humankind. May we remember this and confidently live in the certainty of Your relationship with us.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us the privilege and joy of being Your children this morning. 
     Lord, we anchor our hopes, not on anything (one) in this passing world, but in the unfailing  promise,  that Your salvation will last forever and righteousness will never fail.
     Lord, we thank You, for caring like a shepherd, leading us through the green pastures, so that we don't become tired and weary, amidst the worldly burdens.
     Lord, we intercede for all the poor and neglected persons, homeless and the destitute, the old and the sick, whom we easily forget to pray and support. Turn their sorrows into joy. 
     Lord, heal those who are broken in body or spirit due to various issues in the family. Let Your peace prevail upon such families and happiness fill their hearts. Strengthen the bonding in their family.
     Lord, we commend all the peitions and desires of our heart. .Show us today, just one day at a time., the way to endure till the end,

     Gracious Heavenly  Father, help us to walk with You this day. 
     Lord, we seek Your forgiveness this morning, for, with the abundance of things we possess, we lost our thirst for the living water. 
     Lord, may we be conscious of Your whispering voice that guides us. Give us a little of the wisdom that was in Your words  ; a little of the warmth and generosity that was in Your heart; a little of the help and concern that was in Your disposition. 
     Lord, give us today a little of Your patience with little of Your ability to bear all bitterness and resentment. 
     Lord, help us to live today in such a way that others may know that we began the day with You and are walking with You through the day.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day. Thank You for all of the many, blessings - blessings way beyond what we could ever hope to deserve.
     Lord, thank You for Your blessing of Your peace. Let nothing separate us from You or distract our faith and focus in You. Grant us endurance to grow strong in You,  each day
     Lord, may we realise and practice self denial at all times.  May we not get stressed out but remain calm , for, You are in control of everything.
     Lord, You took the insult on our behalf and was judged, tormented and shamed. You held Your peace and set us an example to remain calm and hold peace. 
     Lord, thank You for Your presence that strengthened us to hold our peace, when we walked through such moments. 
     Lord, grant us Your grace to rise above our human weakness and our feeble attempts to seek Your pardon. Let all the glory and the dominion be unto You forever and ever.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

    Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day  celebrated as Women's Day.
     Lord, we commend all the women into Your divine care. Thank You for showing them Your high regards and addressing  them tenderly as daughters. Thank You for speaking to them in a thoughtful and a caring manner.
     Lord, thank You for the lives of faithful women in the scriptures and women in the past and living in the present age. 
     Lord, we thank You for the women around the globe,  who have taken the initiative and courage to contribute to the society as our spiritual and political leaders, women involved in Church ministry and social services, professionals in all fields,  etc., and all those who support our household chores. Give them Your abundant wisdom , guidance and good health.
     Lord, hear the silent prayers of all the home makers who dedicate themselves for the welfare of their family. Bring hope in the midst of desires and desperation and answer their prayers. 
     Lord, we bring before You the injustice, poverty and inequality, women still face even today. Help us to accord dignity to them as taught by You and treat them as human beings.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day. Thank You for revealing Your great goodness and for providing our needs. 
     Lord, we pray for all those who are depressed due to various challenges. Cast away all the obstacles that hinder their breakthrough. 
     Lord, bless the efforts of small vendors, labourers, and  daily wagers. Give them the physical strength as they toil during the day to provide for their needs.
     Lord, we pray for those unemployed and those facing redundancy, forced closure of businesses and loss of income. Strengthen them to face it boldly. Open up new avenues and opportunities for them.
     Lord, we pray for those who are sick and awaiting Your healing touch. Let them be healed by Your stripes. Bless the doctors and support team who render their services to the society.
     Lord, we lay our requests before You. Continue to lead us and guide us. With You by our side, we fear not. For, You are our Rock and our Redeemer.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this Sunday.
     Lord, we enter Your gates with thanksgiving  and Your  courts with praise. We thank You for the privilege given to us to participate in the worship service. 
     Lord, may we be true to the prayer of confession and prayer of humble access, as we prepare to  participate in the Eucharist. May we not become complacent about the enormous price that was paid for our sin. Make us worthy to feed on Your flesh and Your blood.
     Lord, let Your presence be with each one of us and Your assurance of a special intimacy with You, be felt by us today. Accept our praises and honour, offered to Your Holy name. 
     Lord, we commend those who are not able to attend the Church today for various reasons. We entrust them to Your unfailing and tender care. Keep them under the shadow of Your mercy.
     Lord, we submit the week ahead of us into Your hands. Guard us and guide us. Bless us and preserve us from all evil.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love shown on us each day. Help us to do things that will bring honor to Your Holy name.
     Lord, circumcise our hearts and strengthen us in our spiritual maturity and knowledge of Your will. Help us to be Christ-like in every challenge we face today.
     Lord, may we fear Your name, and return to You and obey You and become worthy of Your compassion. Give us the grace to love You with all our heart and soul and mind and strength.
     Lord, renew our spirits, fill us with Your peace and joy. Forgive us when we don't thank You enough, for who You are, for all that You do, and for all that You have given us. Accept our prayer this morning.
     In Jesus' name we pray Amen.

   Gracious Heavenly Father, we praise and thankYou for all the grace and mercy given   this morning.
     Lord, thank You for the sacrifice made through Your Son Jesus Christ on the Cross, that earned us the salvation. May we always be mindful of this love and be true to our self-denial. 
     Lord, please give us the courage, honesty and humility, needed to recognise our own sins and wickedness. We do not depend on our physical strength or our mental fortitude to overcome these challenges,  but look up to Your strength to overcome.
     Lord, grant us the confidence that we are ultimately the victor over the trials in our life. May we not be ashamed of sharing the testimony of Your deliverance to the world.
     Lord, thank You for giving us the spirit of power, love and self control. Help us to be true to Your Word and bear fruit to the everlasting honor of Your Holy name. 
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
