A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day. 

Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight  that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way. 

Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ;  be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations. 

Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow. 

Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive". 

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week. 

Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that  strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always. 

Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares. 

Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight. 

Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood.  Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants. 

Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for  bringing us to another new week . We are saved through the grace filled with full of hope and joy.
     Lord, we know that You are more eager to hear our prayers each morning. Though Your eyes are on the sparrow, we know You watch us all the time. Thank You for Your love.
     Lord, You are more concerned to respond to us appropriately than we expect You to be.
     Lord, let Your Wisdom  guide us; Your shield protect us; Your hand guard us; Your strength pilot us; and Your might uphold us.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

 Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for Your great love and blessing on this worship Sunday.
     Lord, thank You for choosing us as Your children, among the multi faith society we live in. 
     Lord, give us the attitude of oneness and sharing. Implant within us a heart of brotherhood and a sense of sharing. Transform us and enable us to share our tables with the deprived without defiling our faith in You.
     Lord, help us to be a refuge to the poor and the needy and to be in solidarity to share the gospel with them. 
     Lord, inspire us that, we may be enlightened to acknowledge You before all men.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

    Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this joyous morning.
    Lord, thank You for protecting us from all perils of day and night and making our home absolutely safe to dwell.
    Lord, thank You for strengthening us to come to  this last day of the week.. Thank You for the grace You gave us to live according to Your will thus far. 
    Lord, may we,  with Your strength, walk ahead without fear and thankfully bring our offerings to Your altar with a grateful heart. 
    Lord, give us a spiritual cleansing in order to come nearer to Your throne, everyday. We take refuge in You and rejoice in You, for,  You are our deliverer.
    In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed day.
     Lord, we come before You as a family, with a humble heart and lowly reverence to praise You for all the favours showered on us thus far. Thank You for being our Rock eternal that endureth forever. 
     Lord, this morning, we pray for the elders, women and children in our families. Let Your grace and mercy be upon them. Especially those who are sick and undergoing treatment. Grant them Your healing.
     Lord, we commend all the children under Your divine care. Let Your wisdom prevail upon them as they prepare for their exams.
     Lord, we pray for all other challenges one may fear to face today. Let Your mighty arms cover them and protect them. Let their faith not be shaken but be strengthened as they go through such situations. You are our ever present help in trouble.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

     Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for this 
day of grace.
     Lord, thank You for being  our "Abba Father". Thank You for giving us the privilege to receive adoption as sons, through Your Son. 
     Lord, may we see Your footmarks clearly guiding us through every step. as we walk forward. Thank You for  strengthening us when we feel weak and face failures.
     Lord, may we understand that Your act of chastening us is to keep us away from sinning and to prepare us for Your special blessing, and to become worthy of being Your children.
     Lord, pardon us for the hours lost in worrying, very well knowing that we cannot add a single hour to our life.
     Lord, let Your loving-kindness establish our steps today that will give us the victory over our every challenge we are to face today. We shall not fear any batle, when You are on our side. Guide us and uphold us till the end.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

     Gracious Heavenly Father,  thank You for this day. We come before You this morning, seeking grace and mercy. Thank You for  safeguarding all of us.
     Lord, may we, Your children, prepare the way for You, beginning from our hearts, by giving up the moral filth and rampant wickedness. Draw us closer to You.
     Lord, today we pray for  all our spiritual leaders who have dedicated themselves for Your ministry. Help them to stand firm and true to their calling, with the belt of truth buckled around their waist, breastplate of righteousness in place, and their feet fitted with the readiness, from the Gospel of peace. 
     Lord, pardon us, for, we often forget to pray for them and their families. We commend them under Your divine care. Bless their family with all joy, peace, health and prosperity. Fulfill the desires of their heart.
     Lord, we pray for ourselves. Hear the inmost longing of each one of us. Keep us closer to You, so that we may delight in You and be blessed with the desires of our heart.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank and praise You for Your new mercies this morning.
    Lord, we trust in You and the great works of Your hand. Help us to love You with all our strength and live in love and peace that is perfected in us.  
    Lord, You are the vine and we are the branches. May we abide in You and bear much fruits; for, without You we can do nothing. Help us to experience Your  love all through our life. 
    Lord, continue to sustain us and give us the strength to walk through the path in faith and hope. We commend all the works of our hands.   
     Lord, may we love Your Word every day, and understand the blessings hidden in Your promises. Lead us and guide us.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for adding another week. 
    Lord, thank You for the help and support You sent us through strangers in a way and manner we never expected. 
    Lord, take charge of our family, friends and colleagues this week too. We reach out to You and commit all the works into Your hands.
    Lord, may we be conscious of Your presence with us and experience Your guidance, as we attend to each one of them.
    Lord, give us the tenacity and ability. Fill us  with happiness, laughter and good vibes as we go about handling our tasks as guided by You. 
    Lord, we commend our family, relatives, and friends under Your divine care. Hide us under Your wings.
    In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, God of Truth and Justice, we thank You for giving us Your love, for letting us draw nearer to what is right and good.
     Lord, Jesus, our liberator, incline our hearts to do Your will at all times and remain firm and true to the Gospel that brought us redemption from the bondage of sin.
     Lord, enable us we pray, to abide in Your word, and be the followers and practitioners of truth, to be freed from all kinds of bondages.
     Lord, accept our prayers and prepare us to enter into a new week with confidence on Your living Word.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come to Your throne of grace with a thankful heart.
     Lord, as we close this week, we thank You for being our Provider, Healer, Comforter and, our silent Guest at our home. We seek Your forgiveness for the moments,  we may have failed to do Your will and gone astray.
     Lord, we thank You for Your presence with our neighbours, known and unknown. Thank You for the healing and the deliverance You brought upon their family.
     Lord, we pray for their/our pressing needs and requirements which were not met this week. Let Your words of comfort  encourage them/us so that they/we may not abandon hope, but place their/our trust only in You. 
     Lord, You are a righteous God who is in control of everything. You are the one who makes the sun rise and fall above everyone’s head.
     Lord, thank You for blessing us thus far, with every good and perfect gift abundantly.  May we be a blessing, for Your great glory.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
