A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day. 

Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight  that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way. 

Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ;  be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations. 

Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow. 

Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive". 

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week. 

Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that  strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always. 

Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares. 

Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight. 

Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood.  Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants. 

Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

     Gracious Heavenly Father,  thank You for this blessed day.
     Lord, we seek Your strength and grace, to accept Your call to the Cross ✝️ - a call to self denial.  We thank You for the  life's gracious things and Your supreme sacrifice on the cross of Calvary. 
     Lord, You gave us the identity as Your children. May we own up this identity during this Lenten season of repentance and mercy. Thank You for sending us Your Son Jesus Christ to suffer death upon the Cross ✝️ for our redemption. 
     Lord, create and make in us a clean and remorseful heart, so that, our sins are blotted out and we receive a perfect absolution.
     Lord, hear our petitions and pour down Your mercy in abundance, so that we are healed in body and in soul. May we persevere unfailingly; with confidence and extol Your exalted and blessed Name. 
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us another Lenten season. May we not consider this as another ritual,  but understand and feel the pain You endured on our behalf to blot out our sins.
     Lord, we realise that it's a time for inner reflection and examination. It's the season to know the joy of being cleansed by His blood to receive all the good things You have for us in store.
     Lord, may we practice self denial as we walk each day.  Strengthen us by Your Spirit, when we are weak and remove all worldly distractions from our sight.
     Lord, let Your Spirit guide all our pastors and spiritual leaders as they meditate upon Your word to share with us. Prepare our hearts to understand every scripture lesson we are to listen. 
     Lord, let our fasting be true, sincere and acceptable in Your sight. Cleanse us and forgive us.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this new month added to our life. It's purely Your grace that has brought us thus far.
     Lord, thank You for the opportunity given, to gather in Your sanctuary. Be present in our midst as we offer our praises and glorify Your name.
     Lord, we thank You for assuring us Your continued presence and blessings,  especially for the blessings on all those celebrating their birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions in  this month.
     Lord, we commend those who are saddened and are grief stricken. Comfort them and wrap Your arms around them and strengthen them.
     Lord, we surrender all the moments we are to go through this month. Cast away every anxiety, fear or any other obstacle that may prevent us from praising Your name. May we serve You through the gifts that You have bestowed upon us.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this month. Thank You for guiding us and providing us all our needs. 
     Lord, teach us the way to fear Your only name and not fear the world or worldly challenges. 
     Lord, let our fear on You be the beginning of the wisdom that helps us to depart from evil.
     Lord, let Your eye be upon us who fear and be the fountain of life that help us to depart from the snares of death.     
     Lord, You provide food for those who fear and bring compassion as a father shows to his son. 
     Lord, let our fear on You strengthen our friendship . Make us worthy enough to experience Your steadfast love.
    Lord, let all these promises cleanse us, perfecting us in the fear of God.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for the worship Sunday.
     Lord, we come to Your presence this morning,  believing that You exist and You reward us. Be present amidst us during our worship and speak to us through the  scriptures we are to listen today.
     Lord, we worship You and affirm in spirit and truth. We bring to You our offerings in faith, that pleases You and be acceptable in Your sight. 
     Lord, enable us to affirm and celebrate our distinct abilities and strive for the oneness of heart and mind for the well being of Your creation. Help us to be grafted into Christ so that we become worthy to receive the reward You have for us.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come to Your presence with a thankful heart.
     Lord, thank You for being patient with us. Let our faith receive a clearer vision through this living promise. 
     Lord, strengthen us in every way, especially when we are in need and in distress. Also,  strengthen the sick and those who feel abandoned.
     Lord, we wait in expectation for the fulfillment of the promise in our lives. We look upto You from where our help comes from.
     Lord, You are our Keeper. You are our shade on our right hand. Thank You for guiding us through this week in each of our works and actions.
     Lord, may Your name be honored among us. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as in heaven.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us a safe morning. Thank You, for engraving us on Your palms. 
     Lord, we intercede this morning with burden in our hearts, for the people who are surrounded with fear and grief due to the outbreak of war in Ukraine. Hear the cry of our brethren out there,
     Lord, give our world leaders Your wisdom to sort out the devastating conflict between the nations. 
     Lord, we pray for all the students, professionals and businessmen who are in Ukraine, away from their home country. Let Your hand of protection surround them at this time. Cast away the anxiety of their parents and relatives who are worried about their safety.
     Lord, we pray for the soldiers on both sides and their family members. Comfort those who have lost their beloved ones.
     Lord, hear the cries of all the children and elders who are shocked and are hungry and worn out. Deliver them from this helpless, hopeless  moment. 
     Lord, You are a God of all nations. We trust in You and fear not, for, You will strengthen us and restore Your peace in the land that is afar from our land.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for satisfying our lives each day in all its fullness. May this grace and mercy rule our hearts today, in glorious fulfillment of Your promise. Thank You for being so good to us. 
     Lord, today we intercede for the weak and oppressed,  living in extreme poverty and  suffering. You are a Lord of justice who will secure the cause of the afflicted. Touch them and deliver them from brokenness. Bless them with abundance.
     Lord, thank You for Your grace that is sufficient for us. You are unchangeably true in all Your ways. Accept our prayer and intercession.
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

 Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for being gracious to us.
     Lord, we acknowledge our spiritual maladies, and the need of Your mercy, in order to be healed. We confess and seek Your cleansing from the curse of sin, to avail the free gift of salvation through Your grace.
     Lord, may we be hearers of Your word and stand in agreement with Your word of power, strength, assurance and confidence.
     Lord, may we be in Your presence, always asking, longing, and believing that You will guide our affairs aright and protect us. 
     Lord, the concerns of each one of us is in Your hands. We commit our ways to You. Establish our going out and our coming in from this time forth and evermore. Help us to run the race that is set before us, looking upto You.

Gracious Heavenly Father, as we wake up, we seek Your face, and wait to listen to Your words that gives life. 
     Lord, You created the universe by Your words. May we realise this and not disappoint You but reflect the positive attributes in all our actions.
     Lord, help us to speak today, the words of faith, strength, courage, success, confidence, trust, peace, happiness, peace and joy with our family and neighbours. 
     Lord‍, fill us with Your peace and strength. We commit ourselves to be disciplined when we go astray. It's not our desire but Your will be done in our lives in marvellous ways. Help us to live a witnessing life. 
      Lord, let Your light shine  before all of us in a special way. We commend all those who wake up with disturbed thoughts, doubts fears, and various other distractions. Let Your words touch them and assure them of Your promises. Let this day bring us one step closer to You. 
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
