A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning. Thank You for waking us up healthy and safe on this new day.
Lord, as we enter a new week, may we find favour in Your sight that will be far better and greater than our past. Make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we may, in our weakness go astray as we face each challenge and temptation ; be it at home, at work, and in our other transactions. Pardon us and help us to overcome such situations.
Lord, may we not retreat in our faith, but abide in You. Hold our hand, and walk us through, so that, together we can face tomorrow.
Lord, thank You for the blessings You have in store for each one of us. May we be confident and conscious that if we have faith, "we will receive".

A Small Morning Family Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us to the close of this week.
Lord, thank You for guiding us and giving us hope through the week. You desired to hear from us and to speak to us each morning. It was not our mental fortitude but Your Spirit that strengthened all of us to face spiritual, emotional, and physical stress. You were by our side always.
Lord, thank You for all the blessings showered upon us and for the hedge of protection around us that saved us through many dangers and snares.
Thank You for walking ahead of us and making the crooked paths straight.
Lord, refresh us and all those who toiled through the week to earn their livelihood. Give them rest and a peaceful weekend. Let their earnings be sufficient enough to meet their needs. Provide them as You provided our needs and wants.
Lord, we trust in Your plans that are designed for us to prosper. You are an awesome God.....Let Your will alone be done in our lives.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this new day.
Lord, thank You for the peace that is like a river and our righteousness as the light and justice as a noonday.
Lord, we intercede for the families who are right now at the cross roads and are puzzled at their future. Lead them through all the storms and distress of the world that surrounds the family at this time.
Lord, You are a mighty God who has overcome this world. Let them see the might of Your hand that helps and guards them all the time.
Lord, we commend all of us into Your hands. Protect and shelter us with all power, according to Your great might, so that we can both endure and be patient at all times.
Lord, speak with us and tell us what we need to hear so that we can understand what draws us always nearer to You.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this day.
Lord, thank You for Your grace and mercy granted to all of us. Thank You for Your guidance through all our situations.
Lord, You have done great things in our family and have always strengthened us when our hopes were deferred, to remain calm and wait for Your appointed time.
Lord, we remain serene and still; and leave everything to Your will and care regardless of any situation. For, it is well, it is well with our souls.
Lord, use us for Your glory. May we use every opportunity to honor You. Cast away all obstacles that prevent our relationship with You.
Lord, let Your presence lead us and guide us all through this day. It is You, who will fulfill Your purpose for us.

GOD ABIDES IN US

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You with all our hearts for all the blessings showered upon our family.
Lord, thank You for holding us by Your hand and leading us on all our ways, renewing Your love, grace and Your power continually, in our lives.
Lord, may we be true to the calling You have given us. Let our light shine out into the world and be filled with Your Spirit to deepen our longing for You.
Lord, this morning we intercede for all those struggling to make their ends meet. Cast away the fear that weakens them and blocks them from remaining firm in their faith.
Lord, let Your Spirit strengthen their minds and keep them away from any kind of self-destructive thoughts, depression and restlessness. Grant each one of them Your protection and deliverance.
Lord, may we firmly abide in You and You in us. Thank You for giving us the spirit of power, love and self control.

THE LORD HAS CHOSEN US TO BE HIS HERITAGE

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed morning.
Lord, thank You for the privilege given to celebrate the 77th Independence day of our Motherland INDIA 🇮🇳,
Lord, we pray for our Indian Government, President, Prime Minister and all our leaders in authority. Bless and guide them so that they may uphold the values of democracy.
Lord, fill our nation with prosperity and peace across all States. Let Your Spirit fall afresh on everyone, especially on those oppressed. Let them be freed from all bondages.
Lord, we remember today all our brave armymen and freedom fighters who laid down their lives for our freedom.
Lord, we pray for all those who keep vigil to ensure safety for us. Let Your presence surround them and strengthen them as they discharge their duties.
Lord, we commend ourselves into Your hands. May we be sincere in our calling and proclaim the Gospel to everyone. May we live a witnessing life and be true to the privilege to be chosen as 'Your heritage' .

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come on our knees before You this morning, in the quiet of our hearts.
Lord, thank You for creating and naming our family with a purpose. Let Your plans for each of us individually and for our family as a whole, be done according to Your will.
Lord, we commend all the days of this week into Your hands. Reveal Your purpose to each one of us and help us to walk it out daily.
Lord, may we learn to appreciate each other’s personalities, and be tolerant of our weaknesses. May we hold on to all that is good; to feel and rejoice in Your Fatherly care, as Your children.
Lord, in spite of all our failures we look up to You, and trust in Your promises, which are Yes in You, our Heavenly Father. Let Your will be done more and more, fully in our family and around us.

THE LORD WILL DO A NEW THING

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed Sunday.
Lord, we come before Your throne, rejoicing in our hearts for the grand and glorious moments we experienced past week, and forget all our bitter and painful experiences.
Lord, thank You for Your assurance that, if we are in Christ, we are a new creation; and that old would pass away and new would come. Refresh and renew each one of us as we sit through the worship service.
Lord, we pray for those who could not come to the Church due to illness, work, travel or other inevitable situations. Send out Your Word and strengthen them and bless them. Let them feel Your presence around them during the day.
Lord, bless all the ministries scheduled for today and for this week. Let each one of them be Christ centred and Your name be glorified. Guide them.
Lord, let our prayers and intercessions be truthful and worthy in Your sight. As we prepare to enter a week, make a way in the wilderness and open up springs that will satisfy our every needs and wants. Our trust is in You.

OUR LORD IS THE POTTER. WE ARE THE CLAY

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us this blessed weekend.
Lord, we thank You for Your continued presence with us, and for granting us all that was needed by us.
Lord, You are the Potter, we are the clay in Your hands. Mould us according to Your mercy. We submit ourselves into Your hands.
Lord, eventhough we are called Your people, we have sinned against You, and deserve Your judgment. Pardon our iniquities, for, You are merciful and gracious upon us.
Lord, refresh our spirit, soul and body. Let no distractions or failures of the past week take control of our minds and spoil the peace. Bless those who are at work and those who are off from their work.
Lord, fill us with gladness and songs of praise in our hearts. Prepare our minds and hearts and make us worthy, as we come to Your altar with all humility, to partake in the Eucharist tomorrow.

THE LORD ESTABLISHES THE WORK OF OUR HANDS

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this Friday morning.
Lord, thank You for satisfying us in the morning with Your steadfast love so that we may rejoice and be glad in it.
Lord, thank You for being our dwelling place, our refuge and protection. Thank You for not withholding all the good things from us.
Lord, we understand the miseries and shortness and the frail nature of our life. We forget often that You know what concerns us, but worry about it. Pardon us.
Lord, we do not boast about anything but remain thankful for establishing the work of our hands and bring fulfillment.
Lord, we seek help and counsel from You to walk upright. Grant us Your huge favor and grace so that our ways are purposeful and our footsteps firm out of Your goodness and mercy.

HIS WORDS WILL NEVER PASS AWAY

Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your living Word this morning.
Lord, thank You for Your Word that is flawless and endures forever. We shall not live just by the bread alone but by every Word that comes from You.
Lord, we believe in Your Word - *that heals, that delivers from evil, that does not return to You empty, that tells us not to fear, that helps to keep our ways pure.*
Lord, may we not just be hearers but doers of Your Word. We stand in agreement with Your word of power, strength, assurance, and confidence.
Lord, we praise You, we thank You, for Your word of deliverance.

OUR FAITH & HOPE IN GOD IS NOT IN VAIN

Gracious Heavenly Father, we lift our hearts this morning to You with a thankful heart.
Lord, thank You for being merciful and gracious. Your living Word strengthens us in faith, patience, and hope.
Lord, Your promise for us does not concern with human desires but with fulfillment of Your unfailing promise in our lives.
Lord, we are confident and bold enough to say, "Our faith was not in vain, our hope was not in vain.
Lord, our lives may often seem hopeless and full of challenges, but Your powers are still living among us, working for our good and awakening us to a new life, each day. Thank You for the compassion You show on us as our Heavenly Father.
