     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed day. 
     Lord, thank You for the gift of our family filled with Your grace, given to all according to the measure of Christ's gift. 
     Lord, we as Your children, realize the burden to pray, intercede and offer thanks for everyone, who is near and far away. 
     Lord, we intercede for all those in authority, judiciary and religious leaders. Grant them the wisdom to govern the country with all fairness, ensuring that no minority is oppressed or discriminated against.
     Lord, place a hedge of protection around those highly vulnerable. Let the rights of all citizens be upheld, and let equality, righteousness and peace be the foundation of our land.
     Lord, hear our family prayers offered in one accord. We beseech You, to break every policy and rule that binds us and restricts our service to the community.
     Lord, let all those concerned know that You will not remain silent, in the face of injustice and that You are the Lord, our Saviour and Redeemer of Your people.
     Lord, we await Your redemptive power to transform our suffering into testimonies of hope. 
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
