     Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before You with gratitude and praise for giving us this day. May we feel Your nearness this morning beside us.
     Lord, we humble ourselves and submit our thoughts, actions, and decisions, relying on Your strength. We acknowledge that Your thoughts and ways are higher than ours. 
     Lord, help us to discern Your Word and express our love and devotion, by committing ourselves to obey Your commandments. Create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. 
     Lord, You are still hidden and yet so evident and near. We thank you that You are at work even before we think of asking. 
     Lord, may we not be surprised or scared by the painful things that we experience, but be prepare t all times to watch and pray, trusting that we are not forsaken and never alone.
     Lord, thank You for being there just when we need You most, -  ready to help, heal, cheer and comfort. 
     Lord, teach us to pray into Your will for our life, and also align our heart's desires to Your perfect will. Watch over us, all the way through. 
     In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
