     Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed Sunday.      
     Lord, as we observe Father's Day world over, we look up to You this morning, our Abba Father. We acknowledge Your divine Fatherhood, even though we are unworthy to be called Your son. 
     Lord, we trust Your covenantal love that is permanent and does not withdraw due to our sinful nature. Thank You for embracing us always with Your unfailing steadfast love. 
     Lord, thank You for the many ways in which You have shown us Your love on us and strengthened our hands to lead and provide for our family.     
     Lord, we intercede for all the single fathers who raise their children alone. Grant them strength, wisdom, and guidance  in their parenting. 
     Lord, we pray for the children whose fathers are separated from their family or have entered into eternal rest. Let those children feel Your presence near them and experience the abundance of Your never failing love and grace.
     Lord, we, Your little flock, submit ourselves to Your care. May we teach our children that, it is Your good pleasure to give us Your Kingdom, and that there is no other source of life, joy, light, peace, comfort, love, or truth that can endure forever. 
    In Jesus' name we pray,  Amen.
