Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this new day.
Lord, let Your Word illuminate our path and help us walk according toYour will and purpose You have planned for our life.

Lord, thank You for Your Word that dispels the darkness from us and gives us strength for today and a great hope for tomorrow.
Lord, be our Shield and bestow Your honour and favour on us so that we maintain a blameless heart and avoid walking in crooked paths.
Lord, help us to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly and upright, while trusting that You hold back no good thing from us, if we follow Your ways.
