Let us Start our day with A Small Morning Family Prayer

May we ask to receive, seek to find and knock to open. Let our love on others be genuine.

Gracious Heavenly Father, thank You for this blessed worship Sunday.
Lord, thank You for the gift of family, friends, relatives and neighbors. Grant us a heart of compassion, kindness, and patience, and strength us to demonstrate all of them in our actions.
Lord, let our interactions foster unity, understanding, and peace, reflecting Your love to all around us. Let our love be sincere, without hypocrisy.
Lord, may we not be quick to judge others but to love them as You love us. Help us to abhor what is evil and cling to what is good, so that we may bring You joy.
Lord, we bring before You our desires and requests for ourselves and for all around us. Let our prayers be purposeful, persistent and in accordance with Your will.
Lord, may we ask in faith and seek You with all our heart, and knock the door with patient endurance.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

So I say to you, ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.
